Orientation preparation! went to sch at 9am to do the dog ears, quite fun lar, looking at all the different color combi we hav lol
i guess our skit was quite good, at least it was smooth haha and OG lunch! felt quite bad cos we left the odacers behind who were preparing for ITC >.<
lunch at KFC haha BIG group sia, had the bbq cheese meltz thing and the new spicy fries, the spicy fries now as nice as i tot it would be, bt ok lar..
some left aft lunch while the rest went to parkway, borders and giant lol. then the 5 of us, sarah, weeling, huiqing, xinrong and me went to sarah's hse to play mahjong, sarah's hse is damn big and her dog, haha cute and obedient, so i learned how to play mahjong and yar, quite addictive ar, haha and the time pass damn fast when we were playing, lol and we played 2 rounds of bridge before we left.
came back and pack for ITC, freak, i duno why my bagpack so heavy, gonna die for expedition man..
called the freshmen in our og today, haha yeah it's fun calling them actually, and lol eng hwee damn spastic, 'prank calling' them.lol jurong police stn haha

CHRISTMAS PARTY! haha it was damn niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiceeeeeeeeeeeeeee haha
reached toa payoh mrt at 5pm and met a few ppl thr, haha waited for a few more to come then we moved to denise's house, at 27th floor! the view damn (oops!) imba lol
and the food brought by the odacers!!haha bestest man!
haha and siew hwee's 'duno-wat-hey-i-dunno-how-to-spell' pie was damn nice, haha 3 kg of potatoes ar IMBA, thr was also calvin's sandwiches, darryl's duno-wat-ball and sausage, kaili's mum imba chicken, zhan liang and fanny's sushi, shi han and jason's chomp chomp da bao food, rachel's korean food, ivie's jelly, and some other food oso, haha feast sia eat until damn full and we didnt finish the food. and the log cake was nice, haha my first time eating log cake, yes yes i'm suaku haha bt i nv celebrate christmas b4 mar..
watched a few movies also, huo yuan jia, rush hour, and we talked until abt 3+ then i went to sleep while the rest continued haha
yep it was a wonderful night.
had to wake up at abt 6.50 to go to school ,haha everyone was damn stoned, super tired sia, took bus to school and it took only a short while, like 30 mins?
reached school and went for orientation stuff, lol tried to be high but couldnt rly get high at first, until we went to play all the games lol pretty fun lar, then school tour, and lunch, and it was quite..'stone' lol maybe thr's still not much common topic among us, yar a bit the weird lar.
wet games was quite fun too, aiya more of zi-high-ing, lol and me and nugraha nv get to figure out how come we couldnt even serve the water volleyball properly..damn malu
aft the games, changed, went into the hall, briefing, mass dance, then dismissed.
went to odac room aft tat to pack first aid kit, haha and the new group names for itc lol the process of deciding the theme for the names and the names was damn funny haha, from fruits to food to elements to duno wat to planets, luckily our group got venus, not bad, at least better than pluto haha.
argh damn tired...

Sunday: went to help CIC to collect newspaper, lol great to see my classmates again, and aiya i jus dun hav the potential to be garang guni lar, lol
we were very fast, 17 blocks in abt 4 hours plus, with only 9 ppl, quite imba, hope they will get enuf money.
lunch was at some food court near the HDB area, had nasi beriyani and it was good. walked to tanah merah stn aft tat wif chin hao, xiang lin, pei ying and ying wah. took 31 wif xianglin bak..
did some PT in the room, a bit of conditioning, i'm quite scared for ITC, my fitness level is like so low now, and all the skills needed..argh i shall 'mug' the instructors hand book before the camp, so that i wont be a burden to my team.

Monday: went to school to check the first aid supplies, stayed inside the room for quite long, haha i rly like the room, esp the new sofa, it's so comfy haha
then went to army market to get some stuff, and 90% of the shops were closed, walau in the end could only manage to find 1 first aid bag, and it's a bit smaller than those we are using one, hope it's big enough for all the medicines and stuff though.
we needed 2 first aid bags so i had to go to some shop beside army market, and they only sell branded stuff, deuter first aid bag, 21 bucks T.T super ex but yar, long term investment..
Got my slippers and lighter, then ming yao msged me tat he is in singapore, wahaha so i met him for lunch at bedok, i thought i would be spending the day alone, haha but luckily he came lar, haha at least i hav someone to talk to lol
went to guardian to buy the first aid supplies, and crap, the guardian first aid kit was like 11.50 with a few supplies inside T.T walauehhhh bt the quality nt tat good lar, dun think it's waterproof either..
the supplies stacked up to $66.45 wapiangehz, i think odac fund gone case liao >.<
went to shengshiong to get some snacks after that, and it's like super big, and damn a lot of stuff inside lar, shall go thr and shop nxt time..
and i finally ate in the hostel dining hall, lol cos last week i lost my meal coupons, so had to go out and eat everyday, dinner was quite good..
ok i shall go study..

went to school early in the morning to set up the volleyball courts, moved the spars and the 'monkey knock' to ECP. the tide was high haha and the process was fun LOL
went to meet RALPH after that and played games, cheered a lot. yep it was damn fun
aft sea regatta, we split into diff groups and bathed at diff places, and had lunch later at thaipan, haha 19 ppl went for lunch! and our table formation was damn imba, LOL
went back to school, it was very hot and stuffy in the hall and everyone was like tired and sleepy, lol and the video worked out fine today! i wonder why it didnt ytd, hope it will be the same standard during orientation.
shifted to concourse for cheering and mass dances cos the hall was booked, haha it was much better, cos thr was echo, so the cheers were super loud and it was rly great haha. everyone got high yep and we cheered non-stop, vj cheers, og cheers, clan cheers etc. lol fun fun fun
after tat was mass dance! haha i still cant rly dance LOL, and thank you kaili for guiding me along ! haha!
OG dinner! we ate burger king, and it was SUPER FUNNY haha laughed until wan to die, and weeling introduced us some hand action thingy tat might become a vj tradition in the future! lol wateva
and we suddenly hav a lot of cheers, like 10. we rly imba sia HAHA and the discussion of orientation skit was super funny, to the max haha

and we were the loudest og during the screening of video, haha cos i was on the stage, yep and riders are so much more louder than rangers, total ownage!

i think something is wrong with my knee :\ and my right ankle hasnt recover yet, after so looooong, die i wonder if it's like 'destroyed' or sth, it jus doesnt feel right..grr
OGL camp was pretty fun, and the attendance was high lol 21/29, so it was a lt of cheering, screaming,shouting, making noise, yar and being crazy. it's weird to see everyone getting so high when cheering but become very 'stone' after that, lol
din get to learn mass dances cos thr was nobody in the pa room, so me and yuan went up to do PA duty... T.T i will be the only one who dunno how to dance lar T.T
the videos were quite good erm but the quality of sound wasnt good, duno wat's wrong..sien always like tat one, rarr...the system jus refuse to co-operate..guailan
and the camp ended much much earlier than wat they told us, haha overall 1st day was quite good lar, esp RALPH lol everyone was very high, and the cheer-practicing session was super funny lol
went up to PA room, thr was supposed to be a meeting but only 5 ppl went O.O so we ended up talking crap inside for damn long, until we decided to go and hav dinner, haha my the very first PA outing sia, lol, pastamania for dinner and it was quite fun haha, rly hope we can get some 'high' juniors nxt yr so PA crew wont be so 'dead'..
went to giant to buy food for ITC, and it started raining O.O cilaka

went to school for PT and had to climb gate cos the school was closed, hari raya, haha i din noe it was a holiday. most were late haha, and the earliest few are the usual ones, me,fanny,ivie,siew hwee,calvin,zhanliang. cos most were late so they started playing mahjong. run 4.5 after tat and it was weird, very tiring at first, arh i hav only myself to blame for being so lazy, nv train for 2 months >.< luckily after finishing half the route then i was feeling much better, but the pace was rly pretty slow.. rly nid to buck up, if nt confirm die during ITC, which will be super hardcore apparently, i dun wan to finish last!!!! >.<
cham i'm quite scared for ITC now, i think i'm nt v prepared... amitabha..
haha played basketball after we reached school, today super off form, damn lousy, and we play some 'accumulate' free throw game, lol quite fun.
play until 6+ then went bak to odac room, stoned for a while and then we went for dinner!
i rly love having dinner with the odacers after PT haha, but i duno how many chances more do we have nxt yr, since it's gonna be super hectic and more on academy... =( i shall treasure all the outings i hav wif the odacers, and my class of course. YES and my jar jar bink brothers! lol

OGL camp briefing in the morning, ok lar it was quite funny and OG cheers were more of less settled, haha finally. and our OG a bit stone today, guess everyone is still like not farmiliar with each other. and only 4 ppl went for OG lunch, sarah, weeling, huiqing and me, haha had lunch at parkway foodcourt, was quite quiet at first, then started chatting a little bit, haha hmm, hope we'll be more enthu nxt time
went to arkar's hse after that and i met zhan liang on the bus, haha wat a surprise! lol super long nv see him liao and we chatted all the way until we reach raffles city to meet the rest. haha a lot of ppl, damn happy to see them.
went to starbucks, and arkar said sth damn funny, haha he was like telling kaili 'if you tired can go my house and sleep' whoo sounded wrong sia! haha just because he is 18 now ar...aiyo tsk. lol anyways...some had meeting while the 5 of us, ben,zhanliang,wyemin,arkar and me stoned outside lol until calvin came from the mrt stn, then we walked bak to the mrt stn again haha and met shi han. went to arkar's hse and watched some 'aquateen' cartoon lol damn lame.
ate some food that arkar brought bak from myanmar, whee super nice! haha those kuihs although quite sweet but they were tasty. then the rest came! haha and we watched meet the robinsons, a very very nice movie, and pursuit of happiness after that, haha though it was my 3rd time watching, yep it's still very touching, haha and i think it's timely to watch this movie cos i nid some motivation to, erm u noe, set my mind to get into studying.. after that was 200 pound beauty! lol some parts were real funny and had to leave halfway, with ivie and siew hwee.
OH and i received a present from shi han and hui yi! haha the tee shirt SUPER NICE!!!!! and yes, the card also, haha i rly love reading birthday cards! haha a big thank you to huiyi and shihan! super happy sia
and haha the card was damn cool, as most of it was written in chinese, haha cheena pok gang! lol we rock sial! arh thank you so much! =D

GP homework is horrible. 550 words are seriously crazy, and it jus convince me even more that my english is really really pooooooor. haha i guess i only saw ( not understand) maybe less than 10% of the words given. and i still dun rly understand most of the words after copying down their definition. argh die
oh wells it's gonna end in 5 days time wahaha, 5 pages left!
and my calves are aching like crazy, i duno why, probably becos of the cycling in the morning and afternoon but i din feel it at all when we were cycling, but my thighs were really tired and i was struggling to keep up with them :S i'm jus so not talented in sports T.T maybe i jus nid to train myself more, more self-determination and self-discipline >.<
but the recce today was fun , and we went to a lot of places that i hav never been to b4, haha like the new built ECP connector, super nice, especially the part when it was 1 full straight path that doesnt seem to end. and it was jus opposite the airport terminal! haha saw 3 planes taking off and landing. and some bike trail, damn cool. cycled for pretty long, abt 45km in total, i was tired after that but some of them said it was no kick O.O die tat jus shows how bad my fitness is compared with the rest...
had burger king for super late lunch, and walked back to hostel with the itc meeting ppl kaili darryl and jason who were goin to ms ng's room. haha and i got free dinner from miss ng! haha the spaghetti was nice, ms ng can cook ehs! lol
left after that to do some work. argh gp homework is so time-consuming! damn it
and i hate the ants in my room, they crawl on the table like free, super irritating, i wonder if thr is an ant nest in my room damn it, they jus keep appearing, i hav no idea how many did i kill, argh their presence is jus so incessant!(GP homework word No. 253) i'm finally putting wat i've 'learnt' into some use lol watever lar.crap

went to united square after that, wanted to wait for them thr, then came denise's call lol so arkar was going to hav dinner with his family haha so the plan has to be changed lol anywayz, we still able to surprise arkar at the mrt station haha damn funny, as we had to hide in some corner lol and yep it was damn fun.
and i got a surprise too! haha they suddenly sang birthday song for me haha and i was rly stunned haha thx man

watched 'I Am Legend' ytd in malaysia, hehe i thought it was quite nice, and met the other group of ppl outside cinema, then we went to tanjung to celebrate jia horng's birthday haha, it was a bit weird though, cos everyone was like duno wat to talk about, after being separated for so long haha, anyway it was good to see them again, esp some tat i hav not seen for like 2 or 3 yrs haha

woke up early in the morning, stuff everything into the super small kenari, lol we really squeezed everything in. and breakfast at some coffee shop with grandparents. Reached s'pore at ard 1 and had lunch at ECP food court.
Moved into the new room, woah quite big and damn windy,shiok. cleaning the room and arranging the stuff was tiring >.<
and it's damn boring here, the whole 9th floor is empty. damn sien.

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name.

Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.



It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.



That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments.



No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.





Several years later, one of the students was killed in Viet Nam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature.


The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin.





As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Mark's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then he said: 'Mark talked about you a lot.'




After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.








'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.'

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him.

'Thank you so much for doing that,' Mark's mother said. 'As you can see, Mark treasured it.'

All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.'



Chuck's wife said, 'Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.'

'I have mine too,' Marilyn said. 'It's in my diary'



Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times,' Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists'



That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.

Spent a few days in m'sia before flying to china for vacation.
Hmm, quite shuang to be back home, haha so free and easy. and the food, haha, though i still havent get my otah yet, at least i hav eaten my favourite asam fish.
ankle was quite bad cos of the sprain, went for some chinese treatment, pain like hell, and had it wrapped for 3 days.
Went to macau on 30th and stayed in some relative's house, the condo was imba. Dinner was good, with all the seafood, steamboat and stuff. we could only finish half of the food, they really eat a lot sia.
Followed the adults to the casino in the night, haha was able to sneak in, the casino that we went to is the biggest one in macau, damn grand and nice, damn big also. But thr was not many ppl inside cos it was already late, like 2am. Went to play the machine thing, and i lost abt 200 bucks >.< dad and mum din win oso, no luck ar.
went to hong kong in the following day, joined in some tour group and it sucked totally, was kind of cheated, the food was horrible, and hong kong was kind of dissapointing, in terms of its appearance and stuff, i thought it would be much more beautiful. maybe it's just the places that we went to, the buildings look pretty old and hmm, quite disorganised. But haha, hong kong ppl are damn good at dressing up themselves, esp the girls, whoo hoo.
went to a few places like 星光大道and太平山 on the first day, nv do any shopping.
lunch and dinner at some restaurants arranged by the tour group, yuk the food sux.
the hotel we stayed in was ok, but very small and squeezy.
went to disneyland the next day, and left the tour group, haha. Met up with uncle and his daughter, disneyland was damn fun, haha damn nice, they already put up all the christmas decorations and it was damn beautiful, esp the big christmas tree.
There werent many ppl in disneyland even though it was a sunday, no wonder they say it's losing money, like duno how many millions every year.
played a lot, haha felt like a kid, but some were really fun, like the roller coaster and buzz lightyear thing. managed to saw a few cartoon characters around, donald duck, chip and dale, buzz lightyear, and a very pretty princess, i think it's the one from sleeping beauty. she was from france and really hmm, look like a doll.
Watched a few performances and they were great, cant rly remember the name, but thr was a mickey mouse award kind of thing, and thr were festival of the lion king and the christmas parade. all the effects and stuff were real cool, and the 'tarzan' was really super muscular, imba body haha.
we also watched the 3D animation, it was damn good haha.
they light up the whole themepark with all the small lightbulbs and christmas decorations, it's really very very beautiful, a good place for couples to go to i would say, haha it's pretty romantic esp with the lighting up of the castle and the fake 'snow' along main street USA, and of course the christmas tree, damn nice.
the fireworks at 8pm was damn nice, though we were only watching it from far.
took bus to uncle's hse at guangzhou after that, had a good dinner at some restaurant.
Then it was shopping and shopping in the next few days. piangz the chinese are really good at producing imitation branded goods. they look damn real, haha of course it's illegal, hav to go to their secret warehouse to choose the stuffs, and thr was a lot of bargaining, imba haha.
One thing i hav to say abt the ppl thr, haha a lot of pretty girls =P really imba lot but the way they speak, esp dialect, hmm quite spoil their image lar, haha cos they talk damn loud and it sounds a bit rude.
Went to this 锦绣中华(splendid china) at shenzhen, it's a damn cool place, it's like a mini version of china, with all the mini buildings and the different tribes inside. Watched a lot of performances by the different tribes and they were really cool. The food was nice too, esp the bbq, damn imba
Watched this performance at a theatre, it was real good. Basically they introduce all the different traditional costumes through dances and different performances, very very grand, a die-die-must-watch show i would say, haha and i wonder how they manage to find so many models for the performances, all of them are so pretty and skilled. china really has a lot of talents, imbaness.
The finale performance at a outdoor stage was damn good oso. Their stages are all damn imba, apparently they spend billions on them, and yep it was super nice.
uncle brought us for foot massage and thai full body massage on 2 consecutive nights, haha damn fun, damn shiok lar but i'm still not used to massage, haha kept laughing.
but it was really ultimate shiokness sia, damn shuang, and it's damn cheap, only at 40 and 55 rmb each, for 80 mins of shiokness. really the best place to go to after 1 whole day of work/crazy shopping lol
managed to buy quite a lot of stuffs, shoes, wallet, bag, and adidas jacket+trackpants haha at abt 30 sing dollar? damn cheap and it looks really real haha.
yep tat pretty much sums up my china trip, it was great, esp wif the company, haha my family, my uncle's family and my aunt. It was quite cold thr oso, but nothing compared to sikkim.
oh, and the planes we took to china and bak from china, haha AIRASIA ROX MAN, damn imba lar, damn new and nice, big seats and super comfortable oso. trash all the big airlines (economy class) even though it's budget airline, haha 1 more reason to be proud of malaysia. lol and somemore they are the official low fare airline of MANCHESTER UNITED, how cool is that, they even hav a man utd plane! walau it looks damn nice in the picture, XD

Day 15, 23rd Nov, Friday:
之前就讲过了，最后一篇会是华语的，哈哈。
当天早上，很早就起身了，4，5点吧？不太记得了，现在好后悔拖了这么久才写，好多当时的感觉都不见了…
大家聚在酒店大厅等他们把早餐送过来，好静，每个人都没说话，都低着头在发呆，终于还是得离开，两个星期，说长不长，说短不短。这两个星期每天在一起的生活把大家都拉得好近，不只学生，老师也一样，看到了他们不一样的一面，好玩疯狂的一面。
相信大家心里都是满满的不舍，两个星期，我们付出了多少汗和血，当然，也有泪水…这里的一草一木，一房一舍，纯朴的小孩脸上纯真的笑容，村民温暖的招待，KCC人员的热情款待，当然还有这里的美景，新鲜的空气，翠绿草原，还有我们花了5天，几经辛苦才征服的Dzongri山，这期间大家所付出的，所收获的，又岂是我们能够轻易忘怀的。
真的好不舍，得离开这么一个与世无争的世外桃源，回到外面那个庸庸碌碌的世界…但是，这里毕竟不是属于我们的地方，至少现在不是，回到新加坡后，让心情稍微沉淀，又得再继续冲刺，还有好多事情没做呢..
早餐是在酒店的餐厅吃的，跟过去几天的一样，烤面包和粥，最后一餐了，很快的我们就得离开这已熟悉的味道。早餐每个人也是静静的吃的，少了平日的吵闹，多了一丝离别的悲伤…
吃了之后回到大厅等吉普车的到来，那QM也忙着分配行李，有了事情做，大家才变得比较有生气一点。东方的天空慢慢的变亮了，吉普车还没来，有些人开始有些不安的频频察看时间，深怕行程会被耽误。到大概六点多吧，5辆吉普车终于全部到齐，能出发了，大家连忙把东西都搬上车，然后回头和Uden, Kim Dzung, Sunom 他们说再见，他们特地起了个清早来送我们，能再一次看到那已熟悉的脸孔，真的好高兴，还有机会再见吗？我不知道…
上了车，Kim Dzung 突然拿出了一堆蓝色的围巾，上面满满的写了经文，给每个人戴上，他说是保佑长寿的，临别时，他说了一句话，让我好感动，他说：我们还会再见面的，在世界的某一个角落，因为世界很小，而我们的寿命还很长。的确，说不定哪天真能在路上碰见他。
道别了之后，吉普车开始上路，看着在车外向我们挥手道别的他们，鼻头突然一酸，连忙撇过头，偷偷的擦掉那不小心涌出来的泪水。
吉普车沿着那熟悉的小路离开，途经那些熟悉的店铺，酒店，学校和我们建的药草园，大家都伸长了颈项回头望，似乎想再捉住些什么…直到经过一个转弯，再也看不到那个可爱的村庄，大家的头又低了下来，车里好安静，只有外面传来的引擎声，车里的气氛也好怪，弥漫着一股低落的情绪…
车子在颠簸的山路上飞驰，我们车后的最受苦，不停的被抛上抛下，得死命捉着把手才不会被抛离座位。司机像是个在逃命的亡命徒，就连转弯都不减速，比不用安全措施爬rock wall还刺激，每个转角都很险峻，对面随便来一辆车我们都可能一起自由落体到山脚下去，真的只能在后头念阿弥陀佛。
胃也挺受折磨，随着吉普车翻腾着，后头横的座位作了我们3个男生，稍嫌挤了一点，挺不好受。
忍耐着到了Sikkim的关卡，josiah把多余的一张褥垫拖到地上去，然后后头就刚好够我们三个人横躺，哈哈，空间突然多了好多，变得好宽敞，挺舒服。那从村庄到关卡的路程似乎把大家的尿都抖出来了，厕所外一条长长的人龙，偏偏女厕所没开，好多人在外面憋得膀胱都快爆了，还好我是第一个进去的，哈哈。
之后的路比较平坦，但司机的油门也踩得更猛，整个过程只有两个字可形容：恐怖。吉普车在那里好像大完的，每辆在前面的车都要割，也不管对面方向有没有车，方向盘一甩直接换道，有时候来不及割，对面的车还得闪，稍有一个快慢就完蛋了，哈哈，车里的每个人的脸都一样，苍白，手里都死命捉着些东西。过了一个小时实在受不了，干脆闭上眼睛睡觉骗自己。
本来7，8个小时的车程，在司机的亡命赶路下只用了5个半小时就到了机场，下了车一时之间每个人都站不稳，也有一点不知所措，哈哈，然后竞相跟彼此分享刚才的惊险之旅。刚才的伤感也似乎被甩在了后头。
进了机场，拿了机票就到候机室里等时间过，那期间就打打牌，到小食档去找东西放嘴巴，或闭目养神。班机被推迟了大概半个小时，那我们也就在机场里废了多半个小时。
上了飞机，吃了午餐，然后过不久也就到了Kolkata.哈哈到那边时老师宣布到市中心去逛街，哈哈我们可高兴了，不然8，9个小时在机场怎么过啊。
坐了旅行社的巴士到市中心去，整个车程一个小时多，途经许多地方，那也看到前一天那里示威所残留下来的景象，路边有好几辆被放火烧得只剩铁架的车和罗里。到了那里大概5点半，老师让我们自己逛到8点，和往常一样，我，sufiyan和zhan liang这三人组一起逛，走了蛮久的，也买了一些纪念品。那里的夜市真的超多人的，路旁也摆了一堆地摊，也可以看到好多小孩在卖一些小玩意，年纪这么小就得出来赚钱，看他们变得那么市侩，觉得好可怜，他们的童年该是无忧无虑的阿！
晚餐我们就在路边的一个餐馆买了面饼卷来吃，里面包了菜和肉，挺好吃的，不过排了好久，那该死的店员把我们当透明的，任由其他人插队。
在夜市也有好多缠人的推销员，跟着我们从巷头走到巷尾，再从巷尾走到巷头，最后没办法，跟他们买了些手镯，结果还打发不了，跟着我们回到集合点向其他人下手，然后好多人也被骗，唉…
回到机场后，拿了机票到候机室等，哈哈，每个人都累了，好多人直接倒头就睡。而我就在那边发呆，候机室热死人了，又闷得要命。后来实在无聊，就拿了别人的相机来看，哈哈，好多照片啊，好像尽快拿到照片哈哈。
过后就跟kaili在那里聊天，然后班机也被延迟了大概20分钟。
大概当地时间12点多登机，这次坐在huiyi 和jia qian 中间。看了电影，吃了飞机餐，睡觉，到新加坡大概是新加坡时间6点半。在机场拿了行李，老师宣布解散，这次印度之旅正式划上了句点。


This trip was a really interesting one, the best I’ve ever had and will always be the best. Everything was great, the trek, the place, the people, the odacers, and the teachers, awesome. We got closer to each other and I believe the strong bonds we forged will make us even more united, yes, 2 weeks of staying together might hav allowed us to discover each others’ flaws, but tat also means tat we really understand each other more and yep, I really feel that we are a family, a happy one. Haha
And I guess all of us really grow a lot and became better person after this trip, indeed, there were lots of occasions where I really saw the good character shown by the odacers, especially the girls, haha all of them are really, special, stand out from the rest, and the guys too, maybe just like how some of the girls said, the guys in odac r nt the ‘typical’ kind of guy. Haha now the above paragraph seems to be transferring 1 message: we rock. Haha but yes, we do. lol
A lot of people to thank. Haha, my climbing partner, wan ping, yes u r damn funny and thx for making the trek so much more interesting and enjoyable, it was really nice talking to u, and being the slacker with me, always walking slowly at the back, but I guess we get to enjoy the trek more than those who chionged haha. Thx man, u and faizah r the greatest climbing partners, lol.
My fellow hut b residents, haha hut b rly rox lar, it’s a pity that jia qian and fanny had to left our hut to hut c, and lao niang got to join in the fun, ok tat’s not a pity, lucky lao niang haha and lucky us to get her in our hut. Anyways, thx for making each and every night in hut b so warm and nice, all the lame shits we had, all the convos, the random 1st-prizes, packing together, brushing teeth together, always being the 1st hut to wake up, laughing together and everything. It was really nice, haha those were the best nights of my life, lol. Haha yep thank you to Josiah and wyemin too, haha 2 of u were always the one sleeping beside me, haha yep it was fun sleeping wif u guys, yep yep not tat we did anything funny, yar haha.
My feasting and shopping partner, zhan liang and sufiyan, you guys rock haha thx for the company and all the feasting and random we had at Gupta, and exploring yuksom wif u all have been uber fun, I guess we really exploited the food and souvenir shops at yuksom haha. And at kolkata as well, all the random walking, zhan liang being the all-time bargainer, sufiyan being the one spending big money all the time, and spotting new/weird stuffs out of those corners that are often neglected. Haha it is always enjoyable to shop with you guys.
All the guys in odac, haha all the feasting and convos we had during the trek, they were really cool, BOIZ ROOZ haha yep yep, it couldn’t have been any better, staying wif u guys are damn fun, thx for all the lozenges and food, yep and it’s always fun playing Bang! Wif u guys, ok lar, wif girls also damn fun, but you know, it’s err easier to play wif guys cos we tend to swear haha. And BEN, we nv forget u during the entire trip, jus look at the amount of photos wif u inside, haha I think even more than me sia lol, u wont miss out much man, we will make sure we stuff you with all the things we did thr once we meet later. Haha you will be drowned haha. You were and are always wif us (inside my money belt most of the time, yar but I DID take you out a lot of times, even on Dzongri top) haha, have fun in USA man, and make sure u bring Mexican chili sauce back for me!
And those who shared the same jeep wif me! Josiah yong sheng denise Rachel and mr seet, haha thank you denise for always being the one stabilizing the jeep and made sure the jeep’s centre of gravity is always on the safer side, haha and the rest of you for all the food and funny shits we had in the jeep. The jeep ride will be so much less endurable without u guys lol
Haha lastly erm, maybe more random one, haha wud like to thx the following ppl for the company: lol kaili, my all time brushing partner during our stay in trekkers’ hut, lol every night sia, my err,cultural exchange group, yong sheng,alex,darryl,zhanliang, haha the trip to the monastery was really nice, haha, it was quite a surprise, the view along the way.
My packing/sleeping partner, wyemin, haha yep thx for ur big ass bag tat went up the mountain wif us, and sleeping wif u fun sia haha XD yar yar and every odacers and teachers, haha very cliché but truthfully, the trip wont be so unbelievably great without any of u, yep it was really memorable, thx for the memory haha.
And 1 thing I noticed after the trip, somehow shitting has became much easier aft the trip, I dunno why, it jus come out so easily lol not that I had constipation or wat, but it really became easier, and shorten the time I spend in the toilet Dunno why, maybe it’s the potato ar. LOL

Have not finished writing my last day's reflection and stuff yet, so i shall jus update what i did in the past few days haha.
Saturday:
got back to singapore and i was very blur after coming out of the plane, a lot of us look very stoned too. Still couldnt really believe that 15 days passed just like that, damn fast lar. how i wish i can go through all that again with the same people, it's just awesome.
anyway, went bak to the hostel, and checked mail for super long, mailbox was flooded with emails, and needed to settle a lot of stuff too.
Then received jun lam's phone call, ming jie was in singapore, whoo super long nv see him liao, so planned to meet them for lunch. Went to cathay with ming yao to meet ming jie and mopz, ate at a noodle restaurant, very nice but quite ex..
duno what to do after that and ming yao left, so we just randomly went to watch a movie, yep so it was Beowulf, not bad but i was dozing off at certain parts cos i was too tired. went to play pool after that, impromptu decision haha
after that went bak to vhall to wait for the rest to meet us, hong hu, alvin, jun lam, johnson and we went to ECP to hav dinner and watched liv vs newcastle. left after that cos was too tired while they stayed 1 night in ECP haha
Surf the net, tried to watch man utd's match but couldnt, and fell asleep..
woke up in the nxt morning, went to ECP mcs to meet them for breakfast, then went to parkway for ming jie to buy slippers, hong hu left after that, and the rest of us went to vhall to sleep. chua called and planned to meet him for lunch.
Lunch was at astons, haha super nice, the food and the price, whee.
nth to do after that so we jus went to katong shopping centre to play, played pool then LAN, counterstrike, need for speed, dota, damn fun, super long nv play liao, shiok ar,esp playin wif my brothers.
dinner at roxy square foodcourt, then left.
Slept until damn late, had lunch, then packed my stuff and stone in front of my computer to wait for time to pass, haha, went to amk hub to meet the rest, and met calvin randomly on the train, damn qiao haha
met at amk hub fairprice and we bought food for steamboat later.the shopping part was damn funny haha.
got our stuff then we went to shi han's hse. haha preparation for steamboat was damn fun, played with the meat, the fish, the veggie haha and shi han's grandma is damn nice, haha nv blame us for messing up the kitchen and helped to prepare a lot of stuff.
Dinner was very nice, haha a very family like dinner, super heart-warming, we jus sit around the table and eat, talking and making a lot of noise at the same time, it was really very nice, haha very 温馨, i really love the odacers to the max lar haha..thank you shi han for providing the place, shi han's ah ma for helping us so much, haha and the rest of the odacers who were present and made it such a lovely night, all 13 of u, shi han, siew hwee, denise, kai li, rachel, ivie, calvin, zhan liang, arkar, jason, darryl, wyemin, jia qian. =D
10 of us stayed over in shi han's hse and it was damn fun, haha talked, helped to wash up, played piano, played games, watched movie, stomp the yard, i like the show.
woke up pretty late, and had breakfast,watched night at the museum.
haha then went to prepare lunch. damn funny, and darryl chao-daed the omelet =( lol
shi han cooked luncheon meat with baked beans, lunch was good, except the omelet, haha kidding, haha shi han's grandma's bamboo shoot and soup is damn nice, taste exactly like my grandma's haha
cleaned up after that,then all of us went down to play basketball, haha damn shuang, damn long nv play liao, and it was a rly nice game haha
left with darryl jason and denise to mrt stn aft tat, took 76 wif darryl and jason, and reached hostel.
sneaked up to the room and waited for dad and mum to reach.
whee they reached at ard 8.45 then we went to jb and ate at some hawker centre, whoo damn nice.
house jus got renovated and it's damn nice now, haha a lot of change sia.

Day 9, 17th Nov, Saturday:
Went to school in the morning after breakfast for the opening ceremony of the herbal garden. Took a few photos with the banner.
Went into the classrooms to visit the students after that, oh a bit of cam whoring outside the classrooms before that haha
Went to visit this class of which its students range from 12 to 17 yrs old, they were supposed to be having social studies lesson, but the teacher was setting test paper, so it was like free period, but they still took out their textbooks and revise on their own, damn 乖 lar. Took quite a lot of photos with the students.
Their textbooks are actually quite chim, and noticed that some classrooms are so much better than the others, duno why also.
Mr. Seet also told them some facts about Singapore, funny sia him.
After that was cultural show by the students. They really mobilized the whole school just for us, lol feel so honoured but a bit bad to disrupt their lessons, especially when their exams are coming.
They also prepared some snacks for us, and served us very well, quite paiseh. So the show was basically dances by students from 4 different tribes, Lepcha, Nepali, Bhutia and Subba. All their costumes are very special, but Nepali’s one looks like some Chinese tribes’ costume.
All of us really enjoyed the performance. We were invited to join them after their respective dances, lol and zhan liang and sufiyan went crazy again, this time with darryl the rhino joining them.
Went bak to trekkers’ hut to pack after that, Mr Pema came and briefed us about the trek.
Packed and squeezed in everything after that. After that was free time, went to buy souvenirs wif sufiyan and zhan liang, bought a few souvenirs. Went to Gupta after that, where the rest were eating at. Banana pancake, spicy veg nacho, hot ginger lemon honey and chicken soup
Went back to trekkers hut, sat outside and talked crap with a few ppl lol. Our last night at the hut and everyone was like, high, a lot of cam-whoring, took a lot of spastic photos.
Argh I miss the hut like crazy, especially hut b lar, it’s such a nice place.
Was introduced to this game called ‘Bang!’ by Ms. Teoh, damn fun but had to stop early cos nid to sleep early for the trek…
Brushed teeth with my brush-teeth partnet, kaili, haha I din even brush my teeth that regularly in my normal life lor, haha good influence. It was a super smokey night again, damn fun sia.
Light out was supposed to be at 8.30pm tat day, but nobody in the hut wanted to sleep. So had a hut talk, super nice, haha but a lot of crap lar, talked about a lot of stuff, OLC, ODACers, ODAC, diff school ppl, high-profile ppl, blablabla oh and the random ‘1st prize’ in between LOL
Apparently the girls think that VS guys are more sensitive compared to the rest, and very nice to girls, compared to cat high guys T.T I sad ar..
Talked until abt 10.30pm, everyone like just stopped talking together, sinking into our own thoughts, And wyemin won the 1st prize, lol

Day 10, 18th Nov, Sunday:
1st day of trek, and everyone is super excited. Argh I hate the stupid cough, it’s so irritating.
Cleared the hut, had breakfast, then left, so it was walking and walking and walking on the trail, the pace was quite fast at first. Then Jolene kena altitude sickness, damn scary, she couldn’t even stand properly. Then Mr Seet said that we should jus slow down and take small steps, thr was no nid to rush cos we had a lot of time, can jus relax and enjoy the view. I agree with him totally, haha the sceneries damn nice lar, it will really be a waste if we jus chiong.
Crossed two bridges before lunch, I didn’t know wanping is scared of this kind of bridges, she said she don’t like the feeling of walking on like nothing. But the river was nice, with all the rapids and small waterfalls.
Had early lunch at abt 11am, fried dough+potato+beans+colli flower, damn shiok sia.
They even prepared dessert for us. Whee
The porters are all damn imba, they carry a lot of stuff up the mountain for us, even gas canisters, some of them are climbing with slippers some more, and yet their speed is like twice of ours, damn imba lar.
We also had to look out for dzos and horses that were going down. The trek wasn’t hard, like nothing compared to Batu Putih, but it’s the weather that is challenging. It’s like warm when thr is sun and super cold when thr isn’t.
Thr was this part when me and wp walked behind Kim Dzung, and he told us quite a lot about the vegetation and the animals thr, quite cool huh. So there are actually flying squirrels and red pandas in sikkim, but we nv saw any.. =(
Lol thr was also this place behind a huge rock where me, arkar and Jason peed haha damn funny, cos it’s like very exposed, if someone were coming up from the other side, hmm, then we will be giving him/her free show. Luckily nobody came up from tat side.
Crossed another bridge before we reached our base camp, they had already set up the tents for us, and the tents are damn nice, the toilet oso, HAHA cool
It was only 1.30pm when we reached, so we had a lot of free time, played Bang outside. First round had a lot of players cos everyone was curious about tat game, it was a very tight game, and sufiyan won in the end, rarr
It got dark at 5, so we jus stopped playing and lied on the mats and talked crap, and looked at the stars at the same time…
Dinner was in this super cool dining tent, everyone jus squeeze inside and eat. Dinner was really good, tomato chicken soup and curry chicken, shiok
Went bak to the campsite and were chased bak to the tent cos it was cold outside. Couldn’t enjoy the night view anymore, haiz. Such a waste but it will really be stupid if we stayed outside and catch a chill, lol
Shared tent with sufiyan, calvin and wyemin. Everyone wrote reflection and knocked out at the same time, at abt 8.30pm

Day 11, 19th Nov, Monday:
Din really hav a good sleep, had a lot of weird dreams, and the stupid cough, made my throat damn pain also.
Couldn’t sleep after 4 cos kept wanting to pee, but it was damn cold outside and I couldn’t find my beanie, so endured until 6, then chionged to the toilet, whee ultimate shiokness.
Went back to the tent and chilled with the rest. Then went to wash up and eat breakfast at 6.30
Thr was cornflakes for dinner, super nice! But..it sparked off the corn jokes again.. and we had to suffer Ms Ng’s lameness T.T
Continued trekking after that, thr was a lot of ups and downs and it was quite draining but the weather was nice.
Crossed a super long bridge, and it’s damn imba, the trek was much harder after that cos it became steeper. Siew Hwee wasn’t feeling well but she endured till our destination, imbaness, super strong in mind sia.
Trekked for pretty long, had lunch at this forest lodge, lunch was a surprise, they served macaroni! It was good.
An hour walk to our destination- Tshoka after lunch point, the vegetation rly changed a lot along the way, became temperate edi. And the trees were smaller and thinner.
There was this turn about 10 mins before our destination that caught everyone’s attention. There was a snow capped mountain like right in front of us, it looked so near, like throw stone can reach, and it’s so beautiful…
Moved into the lodge, all the guys in one room, damn nice. Played Bang inside the room aft tat, until dinner time.
Dinner was good, FRIED CHICKEN! Damn nice ar~
Opened a Tshoka-Gupta restaurant with calvin in the tent that sold only 奶茶 or 茶奶. Lol damn funny lar
Wanted to sit outside and enjoy the night one, but was chased back by the teachers, T.T
Sufiyan, zhan liang and darryl slept while the rest wrote reflections.
Slept beside Josiah tat night, and he forced me to write this down, LOL

Day 12, 20th Nov, Tuesday:
Tshoka is damn cold in the night, had to wake up at 3am to pee cos of the stupid 奶茶，茶奶thing. It was freaking cold, like the smoke produced per breathe can cover my face one, lol
But the sky was damn nice, it’s like dark blue and purple, with a thousand stars and a big, bright moon. When we went to India, it was only new moon, and it has became almost full moon, coolios. No light pollution or any cloud, everything was so natural and nice, and the range of mountains around that place made it even more stunning…
Couldn’t stand the cold so went in aft a short while, slept until 6 then went to toilet again. The sun has already risen, and the sky was like, duno how to describe it in any other way, but yeah, damn beautiful lar, and the mist and clouds added more effect on it. Freaking nice.
Haha went bak to pack, changed, had breakfast, warmed up then left.
That day’s trek was the most difficult one, cos we were gaining a lot of heights, 1000+ metres, and it was very steep.
The thin air and my stupid cough made it even harder. Luckily the trail is pretty well built, either covered and flattened with rocks or logs, so it was actually a very nice trek. Of course, the sceneries along the trek, really awesome.
It’s always either both sides with the temperate forest, or a trek on a big, flat plane where you can see the surrounding mountains. There’s this snow capped mountain that seemed jus so close, it’s reallyl super super nice, especially when it’s covered mostly by clouds, leaving a gap in between, 朦朦胧胧的，雄伟壮观中又带着一丝神秘. Haha dunno wat’s the name of tat mountain, but heard that it’s 6600+ metres high,
The trees along the trek are mostly botak, and a lot of them have peeling red or pink barks, while some of the evergreen species are very tall and large.
Lunch was at one super big and flat plane, with a toilet and a hut. Some of the ppl were not feeling well, and quite a number of us had slight headache.
So the pace was a bit slower later and it got steeper also. Today’s trek is pretty mentally challenging cos the trek never seems to end. Every ascending tail seems to be leading to the destination, but with a small turn, it continued up to duno whr.
Walked for another two and a half hours after lunch point. As se stepped above 3600+ metres the condition of the trail and the vegetation started to change. We could see ice in between the bushes and there was also ice on the trek. Think it’s due to the pressure, most of the streams have a top layer of ice.
It became cloudy and we couldn’t really see far. But it’s quite cool lar, seeing the people in front disappearing. Reached this point when someone said that the destination is just 10 minutes away. Got a bit excited and started to walk faster. Fifteen to twenty minutes passed but we din see any building that looks like a common lodge. Got disappointed and thought it was just a false hope, then suddenly out of nowhere, the lodge and a few other buildings came into sight. LOL damn happy lar.
The hut is like surrounded by mountains, and it’s freaking cold, everyone ‘smokes’ like free, even when the sun is still high up thr. Had a room for girls and another for guys, while the teachers and guides slept at the common room.
When we reached there, the cooks have already prepared popcorns for us, damn imba nice lar, I wonder how they made it up thr, IMBA. It got cold soon after it got dark and everyone jus went back to their respective room, and chilled inside the cocoon sleeping bag.
The temperature dropped so much that even in the room with all the windows and doors closed, we still breathe out smoke. Stoned, talked crap then accidentally fell asleep, then someone came to wake us up for dinner. It got even colder outside, cant even step out without our down jackets, if catch a chill, then really good game.
So everyone squeezed inside the common room and eat. Dinner was special, got beef! Super nice lar especially the gravy, but din really eat much cos didn’t have the mood, was very stoned then. A lot more people were not feeling well, most of them got headaches and some couldn’t even walk properly. Then apparently jolene’s condition went worse and all of us were pretty affected and scared.
The teachers talked to us after dinner. Unfortunately, some of us might not be able to go up to the Dzongri Top the next morning, it all has to depend on our physical condition in the morning. All of us were like, down and some really went emotional. Could feel that everyone has the same feeling, but the position and situation of certain individuals added pressure on their shoulder, so some couldn’t take it and broke down. Was really very sad.. our dream was to get everyone up thr together…

Was supposed to sleep at 8.30, everyone tried to sleep but could hear that most of us couldn’t sleep, just falling into our own thoughts. I tried to sleep but couldn’t, dunno why, just had this very weird feeling. Cant even lie down still, was very uncomfortable. Tried adjusting the lying position but to no avail. Was awaked until 11+ and still couldn’t sleep. Tried other methods and there was one that kind of worked, which was forcing myself to imagine ‘dreams’ then fall into it. But then, will still wake up like every half an hour, was damn sien and started counting down to the time that we were supposed to wake up- 4am, it seemed so long then..

Day 13, 21st Nov, Wednesday:
Ya so lied in the sleeping bag, flip here flip there still couldn’t sleep. Then darryl woke up at abt 1.30 to go to the toilet. Went with him cos he needed help to walk and I also needed to pee.
Stepped out of the room and it’s terribly cold. Can still the feel the cold even if I was wearing, beanie, scarf, thermals, long sleeve shirt, fleece jacket, down jacket, gloves, pants, thermal socks and another pair of socks. Damn gay lar the temperature, cold like freak.
The wind was super strong, but luckily the clothes were impermeable, so only the face suffered. But still, it’s freezing cold, like every part of the body is like freezing and our motions became really slow and clumsy.
Had to stay inside the other cubicle while waiting for darryl to finish his big B. stayed inside for a while, felt quite stupid so went outside and wait, and enjoyed the night sky cos it was really nice. Couldn’t see the moon, but the stars lit up the whole sky.
The wind was irritating, keep blowing from different directions, so had to keep adjusting my head to different direction.
Went back to the hut, felt better and finally could sleep for a while, about 1.5 hours before being waken up by the wind that blew into the room, think someone nv close the door properly, shivered like crazy cos I slept near the door.
It was already 3.45am then so decided to just sit there and wait. Then someone came and gave wake up call at 4, hot tea was served, with biscuits, haha damn nice to the max.
Gathered outside the hut before moving to the summit, luckily all the guys felt better and everyone could go for the trek to the summit. However, for the girls side, Jolene and kai li couldn’t join us cos they were not feeling well, damn sad lar.. to be honest, I nv expected kai li to not be able to go with us, cos she always look so strong and fit, but then somehow she got sick and vomited a few times, so had to make sacrifices to avoid any accident. From 26 to 25 to 23, it was really very sad..
Anyway, it was freaking cold and dark outside. Was shivering like crazy and couldn’t even breath properly cos the air is like freezing my nose and mouth.
Started moving and me and wanping were at the back, it was dark and we had to rely on torches, the trail is damn steep and pretty slippery at the same time. Due to the low temperature, everyone was like slipping here and there, the air was so thin and cold that everyone was panting like mad, felt very breathless also, could finally feel how low oxygen level is like, it’s like suffocating, damn scary.
Everyone wore like at least 4 layers and we all looked damn fat, like ba zhang, quite funny lar.
The trek was not long but very hard to move cos of all the reasons, so we took pretty long to reach to the top of the 1st mountain, and from there we were to walk to Dzongri Top, another mountain that is connected to it.
The trek was nice, especially cos we were at the back, so when we looked up, all we could see is people’s torch, forming a nice zig-zag line up, damn nice and it was pitch dark, so we could only see the torches moving but nt the ppl up thr.
Everyone was tired and we were like competing with time cos the sun was rising, the sky was super nice, especially the north star, damn bright.
Then the east side of the sky was also slowly becoming yellow then orange then red, SUPER NICE! As it became brighter, the surrounding became clearer and it is until then we realize what kind of view we were having. On the left side, a whole stretch of mountains that are snow-capped, below them is a joint large slope, full of ice and soil, while on the right, is the rising sun behind another range of lower mountains, imba nice.
When we reach the top of the mountain and steeped onto the trail connecting Dzongri Top, the real thing happened. Lol the wind was freaking strong and super cold, like stabbing every inch of our body that is exposed. Everyone’s face was like frozen and we couldn’t even speak properly.
But seriously, it’s worth all the challenges and coldness. The view from Dzongri Top is really the best that I have ever obtained in my life. Everyone was super happy and excited, cheering and jumping in joy. We were lucky and reached before sunrise, so we were able to witness it, damn nice.
Of course, in the mean time, it was havoc cam-whoring. Everyone saved their camera batteries just for that, so it was mass spamming of photos, random combinations, OLC groups, B2B groups, classes, S3- facts, S4- facts, solo class, huts, jeeps, different i/c blab la bla, it was crazy.
Stayed there and cam-whored for pretty long. Then we were able to see the first beam of sunlight shining on the snow-capped mountain opposite, it became orange, very beautiful. And because there was not much cloud, we were able to see Mt. Khanchendzonga! 3rd highest in the world, and it was jus opposite us.
It was really a pity that Jolene, kai li and ben couldn’t join us, but nvm, we are always together..
During the trek up, Faizah felt uncomfortable and went down with Sunom, but somehow in the end, she managed to reach the top again and was jus in time for group photos.
Sang school song, ODAC cheers, school cheers bla bla bla before going down, it was like damn hard to walk cos it’s damn steep, so some of us jus slid down.
Went back to the hut and had breakfast. The stream in front of the hut was frozen, but was melting. A few of the ‘suakus’ went to play with it, lol damn spas.
Mr Seet talked to us after breakfast and I cant agree more with him. Our batch really got a lot of strong and imba ppl with good personalities. Even though some of us were physically down during the trek, they pushed on and persevered, I really salute them for being so mentally strong, imbaness, Jolene faizah siew hwee and others. And of course, the ppl who took good care of the sick ones voluntarily, fanny, jia qian, Jaclyn and some others. Kaili, the one who made a hard decision of not goin to the top cos she was sick, nv force herself to go up to prevent getting worse and affect our journey, and being capable of taking good care of herself. Really, I respect all these ppl, from the bottom of the heart. Hehe
It’s really good that we made it to Dzongri Top, the highest and maybe the coldest in ODAC history. The teachers also said that this trip set a lot of records, the best views, the first OCIP cum OT etc etc.
And Josiah said that Ms Ng said our batch is the best, for wat we’ve done so far, To think of it, we really did a lot of things and they are all impressive, June OT, reunion, December OT, and many more, we have really excelled and set a benchmark for others. Really super happy to hear that lar, indeed, our batch is probably the most united, most bonded, most efficient one.
Haha, anywayz, after breakfast, we started to descend to Tshoka. The views about the same as yesterday, just that it’s more cloudy and colder. The first 45 minutes was quite slow cos the trek was frozen, covered with ice, and there was water flowing underneath, very beautiful but extremely dangerous.
Reached this flat plane where the view was supposed to be damn nice, but it was too cloudy, so we couldn’t see anything except cloud. RARR
Continued moving, and it was quite fast, couldn’t believe we ascended so much the day before, pretty amazing, it’s really very steep.
Walked and talked along the way. Listened to josiah’s sad childhood, Wan Ping’s (sort of), S37 stories etc. lol
Reached Tshoka at around 12.30 which is pretty fast. Had lunch, macaroni but it was super salty, think they wan to finish all their salt. After lunch played 1 round of bride then moved into the room. Me, wyemin, arkar, yong sheng and zhan liang in 1 room, this time got mattress and pillow some more, damn shiok.
Played ‘Bang!’, 1st round was good, then 2nd round was like.. unpleasant..cos Denise and Siew Hwee joined and they were like first time playing, so they din noe a lot of things and didn’t observe other ppl’s actions. The game was spoilt cos a lot of ppl anyhow whack, and it became draggy cos the sheriff didn’t noe wat’s happening.. so the rest of us who died earlier became impatient and gave a lot of comments,I said a lot of mean stuff too, and that pissed denise and siew hwee off, so they left aft that. Was super guilty, for being so insentive and impatient, girls and boys are different when playing games and I neglected that, sorry arhs denise and siew hwee =P
Played another round then everyone got sien edi, so I went bak to the room to do reflection, the rest gathered in 1 of the room and chatted.
Dinner, my cough was really bad and I sounded different. The boys wanted to have a feast so we went to the bigger room and spammed food, talked a lot and ate a lot, ultimate shiokness, boiz rooz ar HAHA

Day 14, 22nd Nov, Thursday:
Woke up in the morning, Listerine-d and Mr Seet was trying to finish his video-cam’s memory space, so I got interviewed lol damn random.
Left for the trek down after that, expected a long day but Uden said it’s only 5 hours, whoo
Before we left, Calvin represented us to thank the guides and cooks, they are really the imba ones. All of us really salute them and appreciate what they have done, taking care of us, serving us, helped us when some of us were down. Then we took group photos with them.
Ok, back to the trek. At first, everyone was quite excited because we could finally go down and countdown to the day of getting bak to Singapore. Morale was high and the pace was quite fast.
But, as we walked down and the trek never seems to end, after a while, got quite sienz..
So me and wan ping decided to slack and walk slowly, haha XD. So it was jus walking and walking, dodging shits along the way. It became quite warm and I regretted wearing thermals, damn hot and sweaty lar.
Walked until 11 then Uden said lunch point was just 40 minutes away. Everyone got ‘higher’ and chionged down for lunch. Haha but me and wp still relax behind, walked for more than 50 mins still haven reachm started to wonder where the lunch point is, then my left knee started to hurt, was a bit sien, couldn’t wait for the trek to end.
Crossed a few bridges, and lunch was beside the last bridge, and I really like that place, the waterfall is damn nice. Had lunch in a small hut, pretty special, got sandwiches and coleslaw, shiok. And we had to split into 3 groups to facilitate bathing later. As usual, me and wan ping chose to be in the last group haha damn slack lar.
Stayed inside the hut while the 1st 2 groups moved, talked with the teachers, they damn funny lar, very different from how they behave in school lol
So it took only 20 minutes from the bridge to the village. Bought 1 packed of buttermilk from a grocery shop and it tasted like shit. Haha managed to fool a few ppl and made them drink, lol damn funny to see their reactions.
Went to shop around on the way back cos we had a lot of time, then there was this family which was doing something illegal, apparently they went up the mountain and chop down some pine trees and brought the leaves down to sell. Uden asked us to take some pictures as proof and she said that the head of the family will be jailed if found guilty, scary sia.
Chose a path that can see the trekkers’ hut, argh how I missed that place..
Went to Gupta to eat after that, chicken delight and banana pancake, couldn’t bother about my throat oredi haha
After that went to the hotel, it’s damn new and nice. Heard Ms Ng said that we ahd to stay there that night and leave in the morning cos there was a strike/riot going on.
The water supply stopped when zhan liang was bathing, LOL. But super sien cos couldn’t anything, couldn’t shit or bath cos thr was no water…grrr
Waited for about half an hour before the supply was resumed. Chionged inside to do big B then bathed. At first the water was freaking cold, shivered like crazy. Luckily after a while it became hot and it was damn shiok, bathed for super long, damn happy.
Then Denise came to use our toilet to bath cos hers had no hot water, lol then the power supply was cut off when she was bathing, haha damn funny, then siew hwee came and rescue her, so in the end she bathed with siew hwee’s torchlight.
Walked to KCC for dinner after that. Everyone looked so refresh and nice after bathing, with the OT shirt and jeans or long pants, haha. The dinner was like, a farewell dinner, so did a few stuff during dinner. Calvin, Uden and Kim Dzung signed on the banner and they also prepared a cake. I was the lucky one who got chosen to cut the cake along with uden and the most senior member, Mr Chow cos I was the youngest one haha
The cake was pretty nice. Darryl then discovered that they got sell a few t-shirts that are quite nice. So everyone went to the counter and flooded that place, bought 1 for myself, 1 for ben and 1 for dad.
Bid farewell to the ppl and went back to the hotel. Shifted to a new room and it’s reallyh nice. Everything is so new.
Most of the guys shifted to another block and we gathered in calvin and sufiyan’s room to talk. Damn funny, talked about a lot of stuff, the trek, the girls, how mentally strong they are, and the future, more adventure races, backpack trekking and stuff. Really enjoyed it.
Chat until abt 10.30 then decided to go bak to sleep, to prepare for the whole day of traveling the following day

Day 1, 9th Nov, Friday:
The exciting trip starts today!
Met at the airport, saw a lot of parents lol, apparently we were like the biggest group in the airport, ownz man, checked in, a bit chaotic cos we had a lot of stuffs.
Took group picture, then went inside the place, went to eat dinner with rhino, sorry I mean Darryl, haha sandwiches and muffins, damn nice but we had to rush cos not enuf time. Ran of the flat escalator with the teachers, damn stupid sia haha
The flight was alright, random tv shows, movies and games. The food was not bad too.
Arrived earlier than expected and wow, the kolkata airport, so different from changi, much lower standard and their efficiency level… -_- the guy at the counter was weird, keep talking and laughing to himself..
It was foggy outside the airport, and we heard fireworks everywhere, cos of deepavali, they call it ‘Dewali’ here. The temperature was 25 degree, indicating high temperature in the day.
Received a warm welcome by the agency, but the bus was rather squeezy, each row has 5 seats, and Ivie’s bag was left on the bus accidentally.
And when I was writing this, they were still waiting for the bag to be sent back by some guy, after like 1.5 hours..
Checked in to the hotel, the room was quite ok lar actually, since we are only staying 1 night there, bathed, went to other rooms to see, laughed at others’ rooms which were supposed to be better than ours but apparently not. LOL

Day 2, 10th Nov, Saturday:
Heritage Hotel: Breakfast was quite nice. Indian-styled-omelet and tea. While waiting for the admin stuffs to be settled, we waited outside the hotel, and that was when I saw those slumps around the hotel. Illegal houses (I supposed) here and there, a few kids were running around, without shoes, and I heard a couple quarrelling, damn fierce.
There were lots of taxis and buses driving on the road, at pretty high speed, followed by the bicycles and occasionally, cows. So random sia, their cows walk on the road one. Like damn big like tat. Their taxis are really special, those kind of yellow taxi, quite cool lar. Their bus service is like free, they just hop on and hop down whenever, wherever they wan to. I dun rly see any bus stops around.
Bus Tour: Took a tour around the town on bus before goin to the airport. The city somehow resembles Malaysia, the streets and big sign boards are like those in Malaysia. One main difference might be those houses everywhere, like really everywhere, in front of the hotel, beside, behind, they seem to build their houses on whatever free land there is. Most of the buildings are pretty worn down, and very disorganized. Driving in India requires good driving skill, the vehicles were like all speeding around and they horn like free.
Kolkata is a pretty interesting place, as in there are new and cool buildings being built everywhere, but in the middle of those slumps and small houses. The contrast is pretty big and it looks really weird.
We also drove past a super big stadium, but it looks damn old. Really damn big, like duno how many times bigger than Kallang. imba
The bus also brought us to another side of the city, where there are plenty of large and grassy fields beside the road, with cows and sheep feeding on them. Pretty nice
Airport: Reached the airport about 1.5 hour before the flight. Played cards, ate chewing gum, tried to stick the tattoo on the wrapper to our arms while waiting for the flight, as spastic as usual lar.
Flight to Bagdogra: Got a nice seat, between lao niang and zhan liang, the view was super imba, we were able to see the whole kolkata, and the big stadium looked really cool from the top. The pilot was damn fierce haha, especially when ascending and descending, accelerate and decelerate like at a damn fast rate. Lunch was ok, the chili padi was super hot though, suffered a horrible burning 5 minutes after I swallowed down the stupid chili.
Bagdogra: Walked down from the plane, some of them took photo with the plane, I think it was illegal cos one of the security was like shouting at us, who cares, lol
Temp was 31 degree, and some of us heard it was 21 on the plane, wat a false hope. Got roses from the ppl thr, and hop on to our jeep. Jeep group 5 consists of me, ah peh, Josiah, denise, Rachel, and Mr Seet, whee best lar
Jeep ride: 3pm and it felt like 6. Passed by the town on the way to Yuksom, was able to observe the way of life of the ppl thr. It’s like so kampong, everyone and everything looks so relax and carefree.
The view along the way was pretty nice too, I like the big fields.. It went dark very soon, by 5 it was already pitch dark.
The jeep ride was pretty fun..the road was super 凹凸不平. Everyone got uncomfortable after a while and we all knocked out together. What’s interesting is that we always wake up and knock out at the same time, so nobody missed any convos or stuff, LOL.
The ride up the mountain was pretty scary, cos one side of the jeep will be like cliff and the other, nothing. Like if the driver made a small mistake, we will just, hmm get to experience free fall, in the jeep and without any safety precaution somemore, scary sia. Luckily we hav denise, who is erm, ‘stable’ enough to stabilize the jeep, so we were actually quite safe. LOL
There was once that all the jeeps behind went missing, so we had to stop and wait, praying that they nv drove down the cliff, luckily it was jus a mistake by the 2nd jeep, they chose the wrong path at a junction.
Reached Yuksom at around 9.30, and they were like having some celebration, a band was playing.
Checked into the trekkers hut, DAMN COOL LAR, SUPER NICE AND DAMN COSY, haha SHIOK to the MAX.
Dinner was prepared and it was damn nice, esp the hot tea since the temperature was really low, like around 10 degree?
Moved into our hut, HUT B, B for Best, haha.
Lights out was at 12, and we knocked out pretty soon, tired sia.
And due to Faizah’s influence, Hut B never brush teeth, haha.

Day 3, 11th Nov, Sunday:
It was already damn bright at 6am, cos of winter I think.
Was really stunned when I looked out of the window. Snow-capped mountain!!!!!!! DAMN NICE lar the view, imbaness.
And it was super cold, and we were all chilling outside the hut.
Played a mini ‘game’ to split us into groups of 5, and we were assigned a task, which is to go down to the village and interact with the ppl, to know more about the culture, the lifestyle and everything.
My group was me, alex, zhan liang, yong sheng and darryl.
So we chose to go the left from the junction, interviewed a few ppl along the way. Most of them were friendly and the girls here play soccer when they are free, wow.
Met 2 ppl who told us about the monastery, so we decided to visit it. It was a very long walk up the mountain. It was steep, and very tiring cos the air was real thin and we hadn’t adapted to the weather yet. Sweat a lot but it dried up damn fast, making us super cold
The best thing was the view along the way, imbaness. The best sceneries I hav ever seen until then. So many ridges and mountains, and the village, located in between the range of mountains, it was stunning.
Finally reached the place aft 30 minutes of climbing, it was about 2km.
Went inside, took a few photo then we left aft 10 mins. There was only 1 person in charge up there and he seems pretty lonely.
Lunch was nice, fried dough and curry.
Played sepak takraw and captain’s ball after lunch, 3 kids joined us, it was fun =)
Briefing at KCC after that. According to Pema, sikkim is a sacred state and there are a lot of stories/fairy tales about the place.
Learned more about the history of sikkim, and we had a tour around the village after that, went to a few sacred places, like lakes and monasteries. There were a few practices that are pretty interesting. For example, the turning script and the colour flags which represent the 5 elements.
The monasteries are pretty diff from those temples that we usually see, although there are all Buddhist holy places.
Dinner! The cooks are really good and the food was damn nice. Went down the village after that to see some ‘show’. Basically it’s like.. an open performance by the local band, in front of houses or restaurants. The people here are pretty high too, dance to the music, chanting loudly and singing along.
Though the sound system was pretty bad, they still enjoyed themselves, so did we.
Sufiyan and zhan liang got high and joined them, haha damn funny.
Went bak to the hut and it was free time. The sky was cloudless and there were like a millions stars, super nice. So we lied down on the insulation mat to enjoy the view. It was really beautiful, esp with the ppl around =D guess we were all pretty touched
Everything was so right, the time, the ppl, the company, haha ODAC rox man
There were also shooting stars, OMT, I had never seen any in my life before.
And I was able to spot one! Haha damn happy sia XD
Hung up the mat on the clothes line, played with Listerine, damn spicy, then slept.

Day 4, 12th Nov, Monday:
Had Newsflash! In the moning, funny sia
Reflection after that, in which the groups had to present what we learnt the day before. Each group was supposed to draw a tree, representing either India or Singapore, ours was Singapore.
Was pissed during the presentation cos of the way they talked about Malaysia. Really felt very insulted by words like ‘hindrance to growth’ or whatever SHIT there was. I din feel it was funny at all, it feels damn sucky, felt like screwing them, RARR
Had a feeling that they just take things for granted, and they certainly do not know a lot of stuffs. It kind of show how lack of knowledge they were, and they shouldn’t just make comments based on what they HEARD and which were not really true. Certain issues are sensitive and controversial, there are lines that shouldn’t be croseed…
Was very fed up and I expressed it out, thought it was needed, at least to remind them to respect other countries and to be more sensitive. I have never expected this to come from the ODACers, was very very disappointed..
Anyway, tat was wat I felt during the presentation.
The teachers then tried to clariy a few issues, and I thought the whole incident was a good lesson, for each and everyone of us.
Indeed, every government or country has its own flaws..
The atmosphere became more tense after that.. Luckily the trek to the school later sort of lighten it up. A few ppl came to talk to me and I really appreciated it, some apologized, I was really.. grateful to them.. yong sheng, darryl, sufiyan, zhan liang, calvin, wyemin, Rachel, faizah, kai li, Josiah,shi han.. and many more, really, thank you so much.
So we started work after that, our group was supposed to clear the land that we are goin to build the herbal garden. It wasn’t tiring, but jus a bit slow, cos the land is really pretty big. Nt sure if we were behind schedule, cos at the end of the day, we only managed to clear about 60% of the land.
Sang and exchanged lame jokes during weeding, walau the teachers damn lame sia, esp the ‘corn’ jokes -_-||
Went bak to trekkers’ hut aft tat for lunch, after that went to a herbal garden which was located on the mountain, pretty high up.
It took around 1 hour to get there, and the ascending part is tiring, sweat a lot.
But, again, the views were imba lol. Everyone was so delighted. We din really do much stuff up thr, unless u consider cam-whoring and talking crap as doing sth… a bit defeat the purpose of goin up thr ar, but it was fun anws lol
Stayed there for like more than 30 mins, then we went down. After tat was free/time/calling time/story-listening time. Heard a lot of stories from Mr Seet, about what they used to do in ODAC and what happened in the previous OTs.
It was much more hardcore then, to think that they had to set up everything by themselves, like flying fox, obstacles, and their YLTC, walau so much more demanding and tougher than ours lar. It’s sad to hear that the number of ppl goin for the selection camps have dropped in recent years, from 70+ to only 30+.
They even used to kill chickens and snakes themselves lol
Went to town, almost everyone ordered banana pancake, it was super nice.
Dinner after that, got meat, lol damn happy. After that was night recreation by hut A. played a few games and made Mr Chow stripped lol
The teachers helped us to trick Fanny, asking all of us to go out and ‘CLOSE’ our eyes lol. Then at the end of the ‘game’, a cake, baked by the imba cooks, was in front of fanny.
Haha the celebration was nice, was glad tat everyone was happy =)
Ms Teoh also introduced us to this British trekker that was camping beside our hut with his family, Jonathan who is 19 and has been traveling with his parents around for 2 months, and apparently he is goin to spend another 7 months in India, backpack trekkers, cool sia.
He joined us for the birthday celebration too, and we talked a bit, lol he even joined in those spastic stuffs that we were doing, like making funny noises lol
Oh thr was this incident before dinner tat was super funny. Mr Seet went to our bench where me, sufiyan and zhan liang were sitting at, then he turned around and farted in front of Sufiyan, HAHAHA damn funny lar, almost roflmao
Went back to hut aft birthday celebration, brushed teeth, and Huiyi swap hut with Fanny cos of her rashes, poor thing.
Took a few photos with Ben today, everyone missed him.. take care in US man.

Day 5, 13th Nov, Tuesday:
Woke up, had breakfast, ate then went to the school to set up the herb garden. The students came to help and weeding became damn fast. The whole patch of lang became totally brown, amazing
Went to saw bamboo with Josiah, alex and wyemin, haha super fun, at least more fun than weeding lar.. The coronation group joined us halfway after finishing their work.
Then stay started to set up the herb beds. Damn cool, those locals that were helping us are damn skilled at this kind of work, while all of us are damn noob lar haha especially those bamboo choppers =P
Went bak for lunch halfway, and when we got bak to the garden, wow they had already set up a few more nurseries, damn efficient lar, own us like mad 5 ppl work faster than 30 lol
Continued working and left at 4pm to bath, the most shiok time of the day. Haha it was damn cold, the hot water only last 3 seconds after turning the tap. Went bak to the room and chill, then came out with sufiyan and zhan liang, my shopping and feasting buddies lol. Bought a few souvenirs for friends. Bought some local snacks also, and they are super hard.
Ate samosa, chapatti, chicken momo at Gupta restaurant, damn nice.
Zhan Liang’s chicken pizza also not bad, all the food thr quite cheap, damn shuang haha
Met this pair of ppl at the restaurant, and they speak mandarin! Haha 1 is from Taiwan and another is a monk from japan.
The Slovenian tourists sitting beside us were quite curious about the food haha damn funny.
Dinner was delayed cos of bathing, tat night was super cold and everyone went to hut C to eat.
Only ate a little cos the feast at Gupta was super filling.
Rehearsed the skit after that, lol I duno how to sing the Singapore song
Brushed teeth with Kai Li and Rachel, then went up and stoned, haha although we were supposed to discuss wat to do for NR the next day.

Day 6, 14th 11, Wednesday:
Oh I wrote this post in Chinese..hmm maybe jus type Chinese lar. Lazy to translate.
起床，洗刷后吃了早餐就出发到学校去了。今天是他们的儿童节，所以我们的文化交流表演就提早了几天。到的时候大概九点半，他们的上课时间还没到，所以就跟他们玩了藤球。这里的学生还真不是盖的，很快就雪上手了，而且他们的球感都超好的。
大概十点左右，他们开始升旗礼。从那刻开始就能真正的观察这里的学生和我们不同的地方。纪律，自律，对学校和国家的尊敬等等，这些都是我们不如他们的地方。只见一敲钟，所有的学生马上快步走或小跑到广场，自动自发地列队，队形也超整齐的。然后就没人发出声音了，即使是那些只有6，7岁的学生。
的确，一个地方或国家的发展不代表他的人民也会跟着进步。也许是生活条件太优渥，我们似乎都忽略了做人最基本的礼仪和原则。不管是马来西亚或新加坡，我从没见过任何场合能做到如此整齐，有效率。而且，所有的学生都很服从学生领袖的命令，所有的动作都那么一致，整齐。唱国歌或州歌和校歌时，所有人都用适当的音量，可感觉到他们对国家或学校的，发自内心的尊敬。
看到这些，我还能说什么呢？只觉得惭愧，就连我们这些受过训练的指导员都无法时时刻刻做到如此程度。
有一个教职员之后给了一篇演讲，大概就说了这里儿童节的由来。十一月十四日其实是印度第一届首相的生日，那他当时就觉得说，不应该只让这一天因为他的生日而变得不同，应该让全部人都能欢庆，所以就把这一天定成儿童节了。
Ms. Ng 也被邀上台讲了几句话，然后我们就趁他们到操场的时候跑去课室里换服装，一进到教室才发现，好简陋，桌椅，黑板等都蛮破烂的。看了满辛酸的，其他人似乎也被震撼了。
换完服装，拍了几张照片就到操场去欣赏他们的教师乐团表演，他们学校还用无线麦克风勒，连维初都没有。
小休过后到我们表演，应该还蛮成功的吧。之后，josiah,Jason,darryl和其他能唱的就跑上去即兴表演，4首歌，音响系统不太好，出来的声音怪怪的，不过还不错啦
表演完毕就到交流时间，其实也就是教他们玩游戏。Five stones,老鹰捉小鸡，chap the和藤球等。他们玩游戏真的超有天分的，都很快就上手了。
好多学生都好可爱，也很活泼，我们当中就有一些按耐不住，不停‘诱拐’他们哈哈
足球赛原本是在下午举行，不过提早到了中午。九对九，赛前就听人说他们多强，然后肯定痛宰我们，结果也没什么吗，就一般罢了。比数最后是3比2，我们赢。虽然说三粒都是pema junior帮我们进的，但也还好啦，如果能换上好一点的鞋的话，肯定能进更多的，登山鞋太硬了拉，一点感觉都没有。
之后就吃午餐，我们的厨师把午餐带到了学校，然后我们就在操场吃。
下午本来轮到他们表演的，结果停电，只好作罢，变成自由时间，有些人就跑去继续和他们玩，而我们几个比较懒惰的就躲在一边发呆。
大概三点左右，我们就离开学校回到了小木屋。厨师准备了点心，炸洋葱和蛋，好特别，也蛮好吃的。之后，他们把御寒衣拿出来让我们选，好厚，穿了每个人都‘肥’了好几圈。选完后到村里逛了逛，买了一罐辣椒酱。。
五点半左右就回到宿舍，好冷，不过那晚真的好美，天上无云，月亮发出的光芒把漆黑的天空照成深天蓝色，加上成千棵的星星，好漂亮，好感动，哈哈。来这里这么多天，只下了一场小雨，早上和晚上都是万里无云的，云只在下午出现。
在外面走了一会儿，然后独自走到一张长椅坐下，在这样的夜晚独自欣赏夜景，抬头仰望着星空，别有一番滋味。可是冷风真的刮得好大，坐了一下就受不了了，跑去跟别人挤另一张椅子。
天气越来越冷了，有些人也生病了，晚上温度都大概5度左右，真不敢想象在山上要怎么抵受零下10度的严寒，希望不会有事才好。
晚餐，每个人拿了食物后都跑到hut C去吃，外面太冷了。然后因为没电，夜间活动被取消，变成自由时间。
八点左右就回房了，今晚每个人的心情似乎都比较沉重，都静静的自己写着日记。只有隔壁房不时传来阵阵歌声，稍稍增添了一丝热闹的气息。
今天下午,Ms Ng的一席话让我想了很多。他说我们的水准掉了，跟往年的学长姐相比的话。的确，看一下周遭的人，他们的一些言行举止，我并不敢完全苟同。其实从在公教时就已经这样了，就觉得怎么有些人不懂的珍惜，也许是含着金汤匙出生的关系，他们似乎不懂得珍惜所拥有的一切，而且对周遭的人事物都不够敏感。有时也觉得有些人不太会为人着想，还好这些都只是少数，其实这种人在哪里都有吧，可是看到类似举动出现时，还是会感到不舒服。
有些人娱乐大众，试图搏人一笑的方式，我也不喜欢，特别是以破坏东西的举动。
其实在OLC时就很怕，怕跟大家无法有共鸣，因为思考方式和频率不大一样。还好，到目前为止，跟大家都混得很愉快。可是，这趟旅程，有时候，一些东西或某些人所说的一些话，我都无法觉得好笑或认同，也许是我自己的问题吧…
感觉上，这次的旅程跟OT1差好远，这次的好像旅行一样，就蛮轻松的，也挺悠闲。那可能是太舒适的关系，大家似乎都变得有点散漫，纪律也变得没那么好，一些坏习惯也渐渐出现，然后有时候也能看到一些不负责任的行为，看在眼里很不好受。不过，这些应该都是个人的吧，每个人的思考模式都不一样，难免会有这样的问题，想必我的言行举止也不见得别人都完全喜欢..

Day 7, 15th Nov, Thursday:
第七天了，过了今天，我们的旅程就过了一半，真的好快…
今天一大早起身，洗刷，吃早餐，之后到学校去继续工作。今天，大家的工作效率突然大幅度提升，工程进行的好快，尤其是我们这些负责锯竹子的，哈哈，工作效率高的不象话。前几天把一条竹柱锯出来大概要好几分钟，今天，只用了几十秒！尤其是我和Sufiyan的纪录，10秒！！！哈哈，我们两个可高兴了，在那边又叫又跳的。然后因为我们锯竹的速度远远快过他们铺植物床的速度，我们锯了大概1 个小时后就锯完了，然后就跑到他们那边去帮忙（其实是去玩）。开始挖的时候才发现，好辛苦喔！因为得弯着腰低头锄，背部和颈项都好累，才做了一下子就好酸，真佩服他们能撑那么久。
挖沟渠的过程当中也遇到几次麻烦，大石挡路！然后‘挖石头小组’就得出动，把石头挖出来，今天大概遇到两个超大的，得靠学生和其他人帮忙才能移走。
从上午到午饭时间，大概搭了5或6个蓬吧，真的超快的。前几天还以为，以当时的进度，应该做不完了，结果出乎预料，连老师都好高兴
中午，我们5个负责回去把午餐扛到花园。吃完午饭，继续赶工。今天我好像没什么帮到也，多数时间都被困在一堆人中间，因为当地的学生也来帮忙吗。然后我们又没那么多工具，所以没得做工。所以就在那边发呆，偶尔锯锯竹子，挖挖水沟，钉钉子…
四点半收工，基本上大部分工作都完成了，隔天基本上只要把标示牌放上就可以了。
之后回到小木屋，厨师准备了午茶，炸茄子，配上青辣椒酱超好吃的。今天天气也好好，没云，月亮出来时，整个天空就好像一幅画，如果我又绘画天分就好了，这里应该会是所有画家的天堂吧？如此美景，漫漫人生中又能享受几回？这次的旅程，真的好棒…
今晚没那么冷了，晚餐也不错。然后因为晚餐吃得早的关系，夜间活动就提早了。今晚轮到我们房执行。第一个游戏是polar bear，跟我以前玩的版本不太一样。不过，不知道为什么，没办法真正的high起来，有些人也一样，所以只有几个人很活跃，其他就有点呆呆的。
第二个游戏就比较成功，那也是比较正经的。就每个人在纸上写下三个大家不知道，自己有不介意大家知道的三个关于自己的一些东西。也许是太仓促，又或者人太多吧，感觉上大家都没法仔细的想要写什么。然后也看得出大家在写时都有些犹豫，我也一样。也许有些事情，还是得藏在心里吧…
不过，基本上这项游戏的目的算是达成了吧，至少我们对彼此都有了更进一步的了解。这次Ms Ng 和 Ms Teoh 也参与了，不过写的东西没太私人。
回到房里后，我们继续谈天，到达该11.30吧，其实我会比较喜欢这种7，8人左右的谈话，因为人比较少，大家就都有机会发表意见。
我也发现说，其实大家的想法都蛮接近的，也许这就是我们这么合拍的原因吧！真的好幸运能够遇到这一群朋友…

Day 8, 16th Nov, Friday:
Ok shall write back in English lol though I still think I can express myself much better in Chinese. Buy anyway, after breakfast, decided to change into a new trackpants. So had to take out everything in my big bag , take out the track pants then put bak again,super troublesome.
Then when we reached the herbal garden, they said that we had to do some work, to dig more trenches for better irrigation system, so that means my trackpants will get dirty again T.T
But nvm it was quite fun ‘playing’ with the worms when digging the trenches.
Other than digging drains, we also made the entrance nicer by putting rocks there. A lot of students came to help and we had too much manpower lol
Also tagged the herbs and filmed it down.
Before the digging and everything, we were actually invited to join their assembly, yep so it was roughly the same, still very neat and disciplined. Mr. Pema informed the students about our project. So some beds were to be left empty so that when the students come back from their winter break, they can experience planting themselves.
Lunch at hut, then Sufiyan announced that today is bathing day, damn happy but. It meant that I had to take out everything of my big bag and repack again later, walau. T.T shouldn’t hav changed my trackpants. Lol
My group was the last group to bath, so we actually had a lot of free time, so we decided to go Gupta and feast, as usual lol
After lunch, went to the coronation site to tag the plants. So it was tagging and cam-whoring with the tags, how I wish our class had 1..
Finished at about 3.30pm then went bak to trekkers’ hut.
Had ginger tea before we head to Gupta, with sufiyan and zhan liang, my shopping and feasting buddies lol. Ordered a lot of food, like really a lot, Chicken delight, cheese omelet, plain lassi, banana pancake, samosa, masala omelet, fried cheese momo, mushroom soup, veg soup, onion and tomato pizza, ginger tea, mango juice, and a lot of postcards, lol super shiok.
Then walked to hotel to shit, after tat went to the room to wait for our turn, did a lot of stupid stuff inside the room. Then when Josiah was bathing halfway, poof, no power supply, haha poor Josiah, in the end he had to bath in the dark, and with freezing cold water. The water was still damn cold, especially when washing my hair, like really brain freeze sia, cold like shit, had to keep rubbing my head non-stop. After washing hair, time to wash body, whoo super shiok sia, almost jump when I poured the first ‘mug’ of water on my body. Wapiang eh
But it seriously felt damn nice to be clean,. After that waited for the rest except zhan liang and arkar to finish bathing then walked bak together.
That night was a super smokey night, everyone ‘smokes’ like free damn fun
Some of them took Ms Ng’s ipod and started blasing a few songs, and we sang along, at the staircase there, pretty nice. NR by hut c after that, played this ‘superlative’ game, super hard to decide sia, there are just too many choices for those mentioned. Only like 5 out of 20 answers of mine are with the majority, duno why sia lol
And I got the ‘most likely to wear g-string’ -________________- wat the hell
Played a guessing game when they were collecting the results, lol our hut no luck sia, only 2 correct.
Briefing by the next day i/c, woo according to the ppl, the temperature up thr has dropped to abt -10 degree at night, freaky sia,
Faizah and Rachel fell sick tat day.. =(
Really hope that no one else will fall sick before during or after the trek, it’s gonna be horrible if someone fall sick up thr..
Was supposed to hav a ‘hut to heart’ talk tat night, but it was cancelled cos everyone was tired oso. In the end, we did our own reflections..

「 仔，你是不是有話想跟媽說，是就說好了，別憋在心裡！

「 媽，公司下個月升我職，我會很忙，

至於老婆，她說很想出來工作，所以 ....」

母親馬上意識到兒子的意思：

「 仔，不要送媽去老人院。」

聲音似乎在哀求。

兒子沉默片刻，他是在尋找更好的理由。



「 媽，其實老人院並沒有甚麼不好，

妳知道老婆一但工作，

一定沒有時間好好服侍妳。

老人院有吃有住有人服侍照顧，不是比在家裡好得多嗎？」

「可是，阿財叔他 ....」



洗了澡，草草吃了一碗速食麵，兒子便到書房去。

他茫然地佇立於窗前，有些猶豫不決。

母親年輕便守寡，含辛茹苦將他撫養成人，供他出國讀書。

但她從不用年輕時的犧牲當作要脅他孝順的籌碼，

反而是妻子以婚姻要脅他！

真的要讓母親住老人院嗎？

仔問自己，他有些不忍。



「 可以陪你下半世的人是你老婆，難道是你媽嗎？」



阿財叔的兒子總是這樣提醒他

「 你媽都這麼老了，好命的話可以活多幾年，

為何不趁這幾年好好孝順她呢？

樹欲靜而風不息，子欲養而親不在啊 ！」

親戚總是這樣勸他。

兒子不敢再想下去，深怕自己真的會改變初衷。



夕晚，太陽收斂起灼熱的金光，躲在山後憩息。

一間建在郊外山崗的一座貴族老人院。



是的，錢用得越多，兒子才心安理得。

當兒子領著母親步入大廳時，

嶄新的電視機，42吋的螢幕正播放著一部喜劇，

但觀眾一點笑聲也沒有。



幾個衣著一樣，髮型一樣的老嫗歪歪斜斜地坐在梳化上，

神情呆滯而有一個老人在自言自語，

有個正緩緩彎下腰，想去撿掉在地上的一塊餅乾吃。

兒子知道母親喜歡光亮，

所以為她選了一間陽光充足的房間。

從窗口望出去，樹蔭下，一片芳草如茵。

幾名護士推著坐在輪椅的老者在夕陽下散步，

四周悄然寂靜得令人心酸。

縱是夕陽無限好，畢竟已到了黃昏，他心中低低嘆息。



「 媽，我........我要走了 ！」

母親只能點頭。

他走時，母親頻頻揮手，

她張著沒有牙的嘴，

蒼白乾燥的咀唇在囁嚅著，一副欲語還休的樣子。

兒子這才注意到母親銀灰色的頭髮，

深陷的眼窩以及打著細紋臉。

母親，真的老了！



他霍然記起一則兒時舊事。

那年他才6歲，母親有事回鄉，不便攜他同行，

於是把他寄住在阿財叔家幾天。

母親臨走時，

他驚恐地抱著母親的腿傷心大聲號哭道：

「 媽媽不要丟下我！媽媽不要走！」



最後母親沒有丟下他。

他連忙離開房間，順手把門關上，不敢回頭，

深恐那記憶像鬼魅似地追纏而來。



他回到家，

妻子與岳母正瘋狂的把母親房裡的一切扔個不亦樂乎。

那是母親帶他到動物園和遊樂園拍的照片。



「 它們是我媽的財產，一樣也不能丟！」



「 你這算甚態度？對我媽這麼大聲，我要你向我媽道歉！」



「 我娶妳就要愛妳的母親，

為甚麼妳嫁給我就不能愛我的母親？ 」



雨後的黑夜分外冷寂，街道蕭瑟，行人車輛格外稀少。

一輛寶馬在路上飛馳，頻頻闖紅燈，陷黃格，

呼一聲又飛馳而過。

那輛轎車一路奔往山崗上的那間老人院，

停車直奔上樓，推開母親臥房的門。

他幽靈似地站著，母親正撫摸著風濕痛的雙腿低泣。

她見到兒子手中正拿著那瓶風濕油，

顯然感到安慰的說：

「 媽忘了帶，幸好你拿來！ 」

他走到母親身邊，跪了下來。



「 很晚了，媽自己擦可以了，你明天還要上班，回去吧！」



他囁嚅片刻，終於忍不住啜泣道 ：

「媽，對不起，請原諒我！我們回家去吧 ！」

有沒有騰出一個空間給我的父母，

其實父母親要的真的不多，

睡前幫他們蓋蓋被子，

天冷幫他們添衣服、戴手套……

都能讓他們高興溫馨很久。



有時，我常在想：我希望我的子女以後如何對我。

那現在，我有沒有如此對待我的父母？

我相信，人是環環相扣的；

現在，你如何對待你的父母；

以後，你的子女就如何待你。



朋友，人世間最難報的就是父母恩，

願我們都能：以反哺之心奉敬父母，以恩之心孝順父母！

Saturday: meeting with teachers in the morning,got the list for wat will be happening in the first 3 days, wahaha damn excited sia! sikkim sikkim sikkim!! it's jus in 3 days time! OMG haha
aft tat went to shop.walau all the winter clothings damn ex T.T spent 70 dollars thr. went to army market aft tat. had lunch/dinner, bought this super imba chicken rice, a lot a lot of rice, and damn cheap,3.50 wif organs XD
then went to buy small stuffs like insect repellant,track pants etc,spent another 50+ walau heart pain.
went to ECP to watch arsenal vs man utd wif jun lam,walamak damn SHIOK lar, duno how long nv see such an exciting match oredi,walau it's like anything can happen anytime,walau damn shiok lar,haha and damn dramatic summore..though it's a pity tat man utd din win, but..perhaps a draw was a fair result..haha then jun lam came to VH to sleep haha sneaked in successfully lol the security quite loose ar..then haha ate otah and instand noodle wif him, and talked cock a bit then watch the gamecast of liv vs aston villa for a short while then slept..
Sunday: dad,mum and sis came! haha damn long nv see them liao, and we went to ECP foor court to hav lunch, haha eating with family is bliss lol. then had to moved sum boxes for them to bring bak so i wont hav so many things to carry nxt time..
had OP rehearsal at hostel aft tat,last rehearsal and guess it was pretty good,though all of us were super tired.
dinner,ming yao suddenly suggested to go astons to eat, walau the queue super long lar,waited for like 30 mins lar, but ok lar it's worth the wait,the food damn nice sia, and quite cheap oso
monday: went to sch to see other grps rehearse in lt5, walau all their videos damn imba, XD can ownz. lunch at thaipan was good haha, then aft tat we went to parkway to buy stuff(actually only me lar) haha bought a lot of food for sikkim, then i nv realised i bought so much food, and it cost me like 47 dollars,walaueh! damn heartpain lar..
then we went to the playground to stone, looking at the kids playing thr.haha then aft abt 1 hour we decided to leave. din hav appetite for dinner, duno why oso,think stomach not functioning properly, only ate a little in these few days..did I&R at night until damn sien..ralph ralph ralph! tuesday: was super excited but nervous in the morning cos of OP, went to sch and my whole body was like trembling, yar due to excitement+adrenaline rush. luckily we were nt the first group and tat sort of calmed me down a little, and i think our presentation was ok, and the Q&A, luckily the questions were nt tat difficult.except poor yan le who got a pretty hard question..
was super happy aft OP haha stoned in school while waiting for xl and py's og meeting to be over, haha while waiting, we sneaked inside lt5 and did a lot of stupid stuff inside, haha esp jt who went totally mad, and we were lucky to hear hui ting sing! haha had like mini karaoke/concert inside lol super funny,it's damn cool to sit inside an empty and dark LT
lunch was at taka food court haha the food was ex, bt it was good, the saba fish rice was imba, everyone was super tired due to OP, and we jus walked ard aimlessly
chin hao and kang rong left halfway and i had to shop with the girls lol, piangz, we wasted our time in the toy shop, and some shops selling girl stuff..
aft tat we went to far east, and had to follow them to some hmm girls-shop lol quite interesting lar huh..
then left to go bak to sch to meet the ralphians walau only a few ppl were thr,and we were like dunno wat to do. so called arkar and decided to leave cos some ppl were meeting us at suntec
so we went to suntec haha, and ppl started coming, and we had a total of 18 ppl out of 29 for our first outing! which is quite good actually
decided to pack food and go up to fountain and eat.sat thr and discussed abt our knight, his characteristic,super power and all tat haha. quite fun lar, a lot of bull shit, so in the end somehow we managed to crap it out, though the process was not as fun as i thought it would be, but nvm, still quite fun, and maybe becos it's our first outing, we were like a bit shy, and only a few ppl talking..
but nvm,it will get better XD
left at 9+ and took bus bak wif liu ye and chen xi.
started packing for sikkim aft reaching hostel, walau, damn jia lat lar, so many things to bring, and it's so hard to squeeze them into the ziplock bags, so in end i jus stuff everything inside the bag and decided to repack on the packing day itself haha, not bad this time got quite a lot of food,whee!
