So yesterday was ODAC investiture and farewell,hehe it was overall pretty good i think though some parts were quite dissapointing...it jus doesnt feel good to be commented like tat for all the 'hardwork' and efforts we had put in =( anyway shall jus leave it behind, shant let one person's words ruin the whole thing
we actually went to sch at 7am to do some last minute preparation haha..i was actually very free cos whirlwind GIs',senior welfare ics and first aid ics' gifts were are well prepared before saturday, so i jus walked around and helped out a little bit here and there,help typhoon stuffed their pillows haha and it was quite fun,cos the cotton very nice to stuff lol
then at 8.40 we moved to lt2 for a short briefing by calvin,then investiture started at 9+ since the seniors,teachers and GOH were a bit late...had sum opening speech by ms teoh and ms cindy low, quite inspiring actually, made us really think about why we joined ODAC and all the memories,hardships we gone through and now the strong bond we forged..
to think of it,i signed up for ODAC without knowing wat ODAC is about,on the 2nd day of orientation,chua jus told me ODAC is a fun cca and so i signed up and grabbed the form for B2B camp,i had zero knowledge of wat ODAC does and how it is like by then haha
B2B was quite fun,wif all the pumas: sufiyan,alex,zhan liang,jarren,vanessa,dolly,serena still remember we spent 1 whole afternoon wondering around giant and parkway to buy food and group identity...
oh i was chosen as NRIC of puma and i din even noe wat NR is and wat should i do...
and i know none of those campfire songs haha since i was not from guides,scouts,NPCC,NCC or watsoever uniform groups...i was from chinese drama...haha but i remembered how the rest of the NRICs tried to teach me all the songs in 1 day haha i couldnt really remember all...but really a big thank you to all the NRICs of B2B,ivan,wei ching and the rest...
then OLC came,OLC1 was super physically and mentally taxing for me,especially the kayaking part...it really made me think of giving up and jus quit ODAC..
hmm din mix around wif the ppl after tat cos i tot i cant rly 'click' wif them cos we hav different frequencies,so during all the preparations and stuffs,i jus kept quiet at one corner and anti-socialed haha
oh i actually thought ODAC was quite stupid during all the preparations for OLC2 cos of all the unreasonable demands and scoldings,like why the hell will u bring a spoilt tent up a mountain?and i know i was lousy at doin all those stuffs...
i struggled a lot during tat period of time between OLC1 and OLC2 on whether i should continue or jus give up and find another cca...and i'm definitely glad that i din quit...though i was super surprised that i got in...and all the GIs said the same thing: speak up more,open up more,dun be so quiet etc etc hahaha if any of the jjb hear this they will probably die from laughing,when did i become a quiet and 'shy' person?lol
hmm felt kind of awkward for the first few ODAC activities cos i dunno most of the ppl...so as 'usual' i always seem to be so quiet and sorang,bet i looked like some weirdo or sth..haha but i nid time to adjust my frequency and open up lor...
ok anyway back to investiture,the videos were hilarious haha and i definitely din expect tat part whr i fell down to appear in the video haha...
then thr were handing over and deal or no deal haha a bit screwed cos forgot to write the '.' for '1.30' i think it was me? who forgot to write tat...
the farewell video was quite cool,got to see how the seniors look like in 2006 and their B2B,OLC...
then after tat was lunch,exchange of gifts and floorball matches haha quite fun
after tat went to katong to join the others,wandered around a bit and decided to eat at roxy square food court,sat thr for damn long,talked a lot of craps before decided to move..so went to parkway and stopped outside bubble tea shop and stoned...then went to parkway,went to the toyshops,played wif the toys a bit then stopped and stoned again...
chua jus told me the current sec 1 and 2 batch of cat high scholars got into trouble,beating up and took nude photoes of 1 sec 1 guy...wat the hell

Hmm got bak econs paper today oh man i was super surprised by my results haha
i got a S which is like so much higher than my expectations..the markers were super leniant lar give me so many marks for writing all those rubbish haha...sumhow i feel a lil guilty for getting such 'high' scores,like last time o level english like tat..=P
school was ok today,everyone seems to be super tired and PW was quite jia lat,cos my group literally did nothing haha had to chiong hardcore this weekend
odac saikang was fun!haha though it's saikanging but no matter wat shit work we hav to do,i always find it fun to do them with odac ppl haha guess me,jason,alex and sum others had fun in the store tearing down 'table towers' and 'chair towers' haha super fun
thrashing session was ok...was glad that most of us,if not all,noe what our problems r like inefficiency,no sense of urgency etc...i din say anything cos even if i did,i will be jus repeating the same thing,so haha nvm..i think we gotta change our attitude a bit,which is more towards the self disciplinary part,have fun and not losing efficiency at the same time...yeah but whether the session was meaningful or not..i guess we hav to see how our batch perform in the next few weeks b4 the next session hehe hope we can really improve and grow as a batch and be more united yeah...
p/s: the previous post was jus to express out my frustration and disgust after scrubbing the toilet bowl the previous night T.T thx andrew,the anonymous guy and others for ur advices,i appreciate it thx =)

Can sumone tell me why do i hav to share a room with 2 fuking irresposible PRC?
why do i hav to endure their smell,their dirtiness,their litters everywhere,and all the cockroaches that they attract?

today is a super tiring day...
first had to woke up at 7am for the piano competition at PT
damn bastard kai liang din cum then only left me and kompol to do everything and kompol was on the stage,so basically i was jus doin one man show in the control room,running between mixer and lights panel. haha well it doesnt look like a competition to me though,thr is literally no audience except members of piano ensemble from other jcs..and thr were only 3 jcs competing, RJ VJ and NJ haha so the pt was super empty...and i couldnt rly understand wat they were playing so it was quite boring to me...
then in the afternoon went for a briefing at nature society by the KCC ppl abt december OT at sikkim haha the briefing was long and some parts i was dozing off cos it was quite boring and draggy haha but the pictures they showed us were really very pretty haha i cant wait to see those super nice sceneries oredi!!imagine viewing the world's 3rd highest peak in front of us and trekking on a snowy mountain oh man it's jus so dramatic and cool!haha
came bak to hostel accompanied kaili to find zhan liang to collect money lol then met calvin oso haha,then after chionging dinner in 10 mins rushed off to clarke quay to meet jasmin,chern fei and kim leng...walk a little bit in the shopping centre then went to sit at the riverside and watching ppl playing the dunno-call-wat thing,like bungee jumping one...the one that shoot ppl up into the sky one lol
haha i think to pay so much money for such thing is quite not worth it though i would very much like to try it...so we jus sat down and talked until i had to leave at ard 10+

so today woke up at 7am and i was super panic cos i was supposed to go to PT at 7.20am to help out the piano competition tomorrow so had to rush like mad din even had time to bath and eat breakfast,luckily i made it in time but the lights in PT refused to co-operate wif me...some of them refused to went on while some refused to went off...and the reflector oso kacau kacau,blocking a lot of lights...
then while waiting for the lights to warm up, i went for assembly and had to do stage duty, and wat the hell,the curtain was closed,we dunno who closed it and we duno how it was closed,cos the cable already broke,so it's impossible to close it or open it...but sumhow it was closed...and thr was no way we could open it...then the projector oso...refused to be switched on..so in the end we had to cancel sum SC's video..felt damn shitty...
then had to go bak to PT to fix the lights so missed chem lecture,then did sum work in canteen while waiting for the rest to cum out...then went for maths lect and after that GP,had sum debate abt the topic:'should gay marriages be legalised in singapore' and i was in the proposition side...lol sumhow i was quite fierce and gila during the lessons,and i din really noe wat i was talking or doing lol i wonder wat happened to me...i was a bit sot sot today...

最近的我，怪怪的...整天都无精打采的，人也累得要死，最近在讲堂不是打瞌睡就是发呆，好浪费时间...我想我在学习上的进度应该已经落后很多了，十个星期后就大考了，还有这么多事情要做，这么多书要读，真的不知道要怎样分配自己的时间
期中考的成绩很残酷地把我拉回现实，初院毕竟不是中学呵，不自动自发一点，遭殃的是自己
哈哈，每天回到宿舍时天都已经暗了，吃完饭，冲完凉再上一下网就十一点了，要做功课也打不起劲，然后房间的环境一点都不适合学习，我开始受不了我室友了，只要他们一进房，整间房马上就变得臭气熏天，他们真的是不冲凉的喔，他妈的这里又不是*国，天气这么热，流了这么多汗也不舍得冲凉，而且还有香港脚，跟他们住一起真的是活受罪...
今天体育课还蛮好玩的，可惜踢球踢到一半就下雨了，然后就留在礼堂里玩floorball，哈哈输给另外一班的男生...不过我们班的女生倒是狂胜另外一班的女生，5-1哈哈而且全部6粒进球都是我们班进的呵呵
放学过后就跑去上学会，今天有体能测试和主席提名，哈哈，六月放假后体能变差好多，跑到好辛苦...主席提名...星期五就要投票了呵呵不过投票成绩应该不会爆什么冷门才对...

intra house soccer..won 1 lost 1..lost to IP summore,a bit no face,but we wasted sum pretty good chances and they r pretty good also so nvm..
haha our team name was 'blue bird' lol wat the hell like translate it into hokkien,blue is lam,bird is jiao,so blue bird..is lam jiao!woo cool name huh and everytime we cheer we feel a bit err..weird lol thanks a lot ar jarren
o ya the girls' soccer match was super entertaining haha basically the ball jus stays at one side of the field cos everyone would be standing around tat area and the ball will jus remain thr cos nobody is able to clear it far enough haha and they r like playing dodge balls instead of football haha even the referee oso cannot tahan it was damn funny haha hearing them screaming everytime the ball moves lol but they managed to score 1 goal haha i think it scrambled in sumhow lol

Hmm today was 'econs' day..2 period econs lecture followed by 2 period econs tutorial...lecture was so boring and i fell asleep lol i think most of us did..then for tutorial,mrs tan din come!haha we were so happy lar...but very evil lor,nv go and find out why she nv come but since she gave econs rep the wrong hp number thr wasnt anything we could do lol haha so we happily slacked for 2 periods b4 chem..
i'm very surprised that i got a C for chem,i was like expecting an E or sth..but physics was quite disastrous,it was a S...44.1% argh...hav to go for remedial edi i think but nvm lar,at least i can learn sth..i hope..jus knew that watever subject we fail we would hav to go for remedials...shit tat means i hav to go for econs remedial..sux.......
after school wen for photoshooting with odac ppl haha thank you seniors so much for letting us to take the school magazine photo together..i know thr r some cca who din inform their juniors abt the photoshooting..but i dun understand why school magazine is once per 2 years in vj...very kiam siap and sad lor =(
after photoshooting went to vs to make leaves with jason,kaili,ivie,fanny,jolene,rachel,wyemin,denise,faizah,zhan liang and alex lol the leaves r super hard to cut and in the end we only cut a little bit haha the vs sec one ppl cut more than us lol!
then went to parkway for dinner and to celebrate johnson's bday...feel a bit sorry for denise cos she couldnt find anyone to hav dinner with paiseh ya..haha but damn sad now only 4 of us celebrating johnson's birthday...it was always fun bak in dunman when all jar jar binks were present...of course pretty wild and crazy too..now i miss those funs...and everyone is getting really busy in their own jcs..
oh it was actually great to see all of them again during chma...everytime i see them i jus feel very warm and comfortable,it's jus an unexplainable friendship and bond we share...and i will always remember it..
lol ok shall stop emo-ing,shall not live in the past,tomorrow got intra-house soccer lol hope can win haha but i dun even noe who my teammates r except calvin and jarren...lol watever lar jus do my best.

CHMA was great haha, though this year the bands and instrumental bands were not as good as last year,but the solo vocalists were really imba. haha they are seriously damn good and i think they will own all participants of campus superstar,lol. especially the guy who sang forever love, really super duper good,and he made everyone went 'wow' lol. and he is only sec 1!!but he shud be ard 15 yrs old,he is a prc by the way,but i really enjoyed the song,it jus made me chill,haha cat high does have music talents lol
then follow up was the instrument part,haha i hav to admit it's very hard for ppl like me to enjoy the pieces but i was seriously damn annoyed and disgusted by the behaviours of some of the ppl.jus because u dont appreciate and understand those chinese instruments, u hav to jeer,boo and insult the players?tat's really dumb and wat i hate most about cat high ppl,they practice no respect to the others. they do all sort of stupid stuffs to show their hatred of anything 'cheena',like jeering when they heard thr are chinese songs and chinese instruments.they think it's cool to deny their roots but i dun.it sucks.
the instrumental band and rock bands werent that good except the 2 bands who played hotel california and franz ferdinand's song.the others were jus plain rubbish,cannot sing and cannot play good as well,it was jus noise.but the ppl liked it,i duno why,they prefer noisy irritating stupid bands than chinese instruments,funny...
then it was the guests performers,woo they were all damn good,the 'monogram' was simply imba,and the 3 songs they played were really nice.then the equivox was super cool oso,damn nice~
haha i'm now looking forward to chma 2008.

TWO TRUE STORIES ABOUT RACISM
1) I'm sure many of you watched the recent taping of the Oprah Winfrey ...
... Show where her guest was Tommy Hilfiger. On the show, she asked him if
the statements about race he was accused of saying were true.
Statements like"..."If I'd known African-Americans, Hispanics, Jewish
and Asians would buy my clothes, I WOULD NOT have made them so nice. I wish these people would *NOT* buy my clothes, as they are made for upper class white people."
His answer to Oprah was a simple "YES".
Where after she immediately asked him to leave her show.
Way to go, Oprah!
My suggestion? Don't buy your next shirt or perfume from Tommy Hilfiger.
Let's give him what he asked for. Let's not buy his clothes, let's put
Him in a financial state where he himself will not be able to afford the
ridiculous prices he puts on his clothes. LET'S BOYCOTT.HIM!!
PLEASE SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW.
Then send it to the whole community that's not white people and see the result.
We have to see the results of UNIVERSAL unity!
Let's find out if Non-whites really play such a small part in

Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air Hostess.

"You obviously do not see it then?" she responded. "You placed me next to a black man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat!"
"Be calm please," the hostess replied. "Almost all the places on this Flight are taken.
I will go to see if another place is available."
The Hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later.
"Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in the economy class. I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is a seat in the business class. All the same, we still have one place in the first class."
Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued: "It is not usual for our company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the first class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting."
She then turned to the black guy, and said,
"Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in first class."
At that moment, the other passengers who were shocked by what they had just witnessed, stood up, cheered and applauded!

soccer match with vjc staff...lost 6-4 or 7-4...man they r damn good probably the strongest team i have ever played...very dissapointed in myself cos i played like SHIT really like SHIT...one of my worst performaces i guess it sucks to realise how i have dropped from not so good player to lousy player...damn..perhaps i'm jus not talented in sports
anyway think we might have won if there was more team chemistry and tactical moves haha we were sort of lack of communication as we have not played with most of the people before but we do have soccer talents who r nt in the school team.. and i was impressed by ben's super nice goal...dribbled half a field past i think 3 or 4 defenders and scored tat was the best part of the game i guessed but we conceded another goal like 2 minutes later haha our defence was in a mess,lack of communication,lousy positioning and the teachers are damn good at headers..
in the end the matched ended 7-2 or 6-2 couldnt remember how many goals they scored at half time,haha everyone was damn tired, including the teachers i guess cos in 2nd half they looked quite bo lat edi,but 2nd half we hav a totally new team to play,haha and they managed to score 2 goals and conceded none..
but still we achieved our target of not losing more than 5 goals but tan yew hwee din play..if he played we might lose more haha
ok i hav to admit ct council hav good players,and our odac seniors r not bad too,but think our current batch of odac j1 r stronger haha XD
man i hope i will hav more chances to play field soccer i like the feel~but i nid to improve myself..which i dun really noe how cos in the hostel,usually only chua can play wif me...aiks watever lar...i wan to improve my soccer skills and fitness as well...
today was class day! celebrated in the canteen haha but quite sad there wasnt class outing haiz
saw this sentence at chua's blog and i felt a lot for it:
"I'm really glad that the gang met. It really is good fate that I've such great friends. In fact, they are so great that they totally set the benchmark for any other type of friends that I might have in school and nobody comes even close."
by the way,'the gang' means the brotherhood of jar jar binks or rather cat high 2006 scholars.
and i agree largely that the jar jar binks i hav got to known hav really set a benchmark or rather redefines my definition of 'friends' or 'brothers'
hehe budden perhaps i'm more lucky than chua...that i hav met frens that r equally nice in vj,but still...i couldnt be as close to them as my brothers...

ODAC meeting in the morning!oh man the end year OT sounds damn fun and excitign!!!oh man 18 days!!!!it's gonna be damn cool and we r climbing the mountain range which has the 3rd highest peak in the world!but we r goin for the lowest peak lol but then it's still 4 to 5 km above sea level..but heard it's easy to climb as thr r paths built readily and animals to help us carry stuffs haha man if we r lucky we will get to see snow!oh man i wud definitely love tat,the pictures they showed us r damn beautiful oh man i really hope i can go for this one with every single odac members,it wont be as fun without any of us but 18 days is really very hard to arrange..and i got trip which will very likely crash wif this oso oh man i dun wan to postpone my family trip again...it has been postponed from june to december and my parents paid extra money for it :(
then went to movie marathon with chua haha was damn rush cos we went out late watched fantastic 4 at 1.25 but it started at 1.05 missed like 15 minutes >.< fantastic 4 was average only...
then watched transformers wif johnson and moppeng woah it seriously rocks man!haha damn cool and damn nice i luv the plot and everything haha all the action scenes made all of us hold our breath sia..haha everyone was stunned by the super nice graphics too haha i luv tat show

Have been spending quite a lot recently..on food,as usual
played soccer wif yunlong and his frens on friday,then in the end we played a team of malays...hmm no comment...
saturday went to queensway wif chua and jiteng,oh man i love the new boots and of course my all time favourite ronaldinho~it was only 109 but since i will nt be playin soccer as often as usual,i shall not spend my money on it...but it's seriously so much cheaper than last time..oh man!
bought 1 shirt and 4 pair of ankle socks before leaving to dunman,had lunch at the food court,then headed to kallang stadium for the games haha it was damn hot in the afternoon >.<
sat beside a group of malay uncle haha damn funny,it's best to sit beside malay uncles for soccer matches,becos they r damn on and damn funny oh man haha tat's the real soccer atmosphere lar not like in vj where ppl especially most of the girls only went to watch the matches for certain player(s),damn they noe nuts abt soccer and always stare at us when we boo other team haha stupid lar,duno how to watch soccer then dun watch lar stare stare stare
budden the games were nice,malaysia ex-international vs singapore ex-international haha a match between teams formed by players above 45 yrs old haha it was a slow and relaxing game hehe actually though it was slow and a bit boring,i think it's quite meaningful,jus to think that they used to dominate the stadium 20 to 30 yrs ago...
then singapore vs australia,haha i thought singapore would be thrashed,haha but then their performance really impressed me,they played very well against a strong side and managed to hav a few threatening attacks,jus tat they were denied by the mark schwarzer and the post hehe a bit kesian but tat's soccer lar when u dun hav the luk too bad lor...lionel lewis din play well,though he had a few important saves,he had plenty of mistakes too,like miskicking the goal kicks and stuff haha and letting the 2nd goal to slip past him...he din hav a good match...
then the closing ceremony was cool,when they off all the lights and introduced all the old heroes of singapore..and the fireworks!it was right in front of us haha we were lucky to get the east side tickets hehe i hav never seen fireworks so closely b4...
then today went to sim lim square to buy stuff then came bak to play soccer wif the jar jar binks haha,went to thaipan to eat and after dinner some of us went to parkway to drink bubbletea and walk walk it's nice to see them all again,damn i miss those good old times~
