So yesterday was ODAC investiture and farewell,hehe it was overall pretty good i think though some parts were quite dissapointing...it jus doesnt feel good to be commented like tat for all the 'hardwork' and efforts we had put in =( anyway shall jus leave it behind, shant let one person's words ruin the whole thing
we actually went to sch at 7am to do some last minute preparation haha..i was actually very free cos whirlwind GIs',senior welfare ics and first aid ics' gifts were are well prepared before saturday, so i jus walked around and helped out a little bit here and there,help typhoon stuffed their pillows haha and it was quite fun,cos the cotton very nice to stuff lol
then at 8.40 we moved to lt2 for a short briefing by calvin,then investiture started at 9+ since the seniors,teachers and GOH were a bit late...had sum opening speech by ms teoh and ms cindy low, quite inspiring actually, made us really think about why we joined ODAC and all the memories,hardships we gone through and now the strong bond we forged..
to think of it,i signed up for ODAC without knowing wat ODAC is about,on the 2nd day of orientation,chua jus told me ODAC is a fun cca and so i signed up and grabbed the form for B2B camp,i had zero knowledge of wat ODAC does and how it is like by then haha
B2B was quite fun,wif all the pumas: sufiyan,alex,zhan liang,jarren,vanessa,dolly,serena still remember we spent 1 whole afternoon wondering around giant and parkway to buy food and group identity...
oh i was chosen as NRIC of puma and i din even noe wat NR is and wat should i do...
and i know none of those campfire songs haha since i was not from guides,scouts,NPCC,NCC or watsoever uniform groups...i was from chinese drama...haha but i remembered how the rest of the NRICs tried to teach me all the songs in 1 day haha i couldnt really remember all...but really a big thank you to all the NRICs of B2B,ivan,wei ching and the rest...
then OLC came,OLC1 was super physically and mentally taxing for me,especially the kayaking part...it really made me think of giving up and jus quit ODAC..
hmm din mix around wif the ppl after tat cos i tot i cant rly 'click' wif them cos we hav different frequencies,so during all the preparations and stuffs,i jus kept quiet at one corner and anti-socialed haha
oh i actually thought ODAC was quite stupid during all the preparations for OLC2 cos of all the unreasonable demands and scoldings,like why the hell will u bring a spoilt tent up a mountain?and i know i was lousy at doin all those stuffs...
i struggled a lot during tat period of time between OLC1 and OLC2 on whether i should continue or jus give up and find another cca...and i'm definitely glad that i din quit...though i was super surprised that i got in...and all the GIs said the same thing: speak up more,open up more,dun be so quiet etc etc hahaha if any of the jjb hear this they will probably die from laughing,when did i become a quiet and 'shy' person?lol
hmm felt kind of awkward for the first few ODAC activities cos i dunno most of the ppl...so as 'usual' i always seem to be so quiet and sorang,bet i looked like some weirdo or sth..haha but i nid time to adjust my frequency and open up lor...
ok anyway back to investiture,the videos were hilarious haha and i definitely din expect tat part whr i fell down to appear in the video haha...
then thr were handing over and deal or no deal haha a bit screwed cos forgot to write the '.' for '1.30' i think it was me? who forgot to write tat...
the farewell video was quite cool,got to see how the seniors look like in 2006 and their B2B,OLC...
then after tat was lunch,exchange of gifts and floorball matches haha quite fun
after tat went to katong to join the others,wandered around a bit and decided to eat at roxy square food court,sat thr for damn long,talked a lot of craps before decided to move..so went to parkway and stopped outside bubble tea shop and stoned...then went to parkway,went to the toyshops,played wif the toys a bit then stopped and stoned again...

chua jus told me the current sec 1 and 2 batch of cat high scholars got into trouble,beating up and took nude photoes of 1 sec 1 guy...wat the hell
the sec1 and 2 are really problematic,and they r getting out of control after we left,damn it...haiz...
