National day celebration in VJ,it was kind of a disaster for PA as the system screwed, and thr were last minute changes and we kind of cant provide good service, we cant blame anyone and the fault doesnt lie on us either... aiks nvm shall jus hope we will get a new outdoor sound system...or at least get all the bloody old wires fixed..
after that was ODAC pt, haha have not been training for close to a month and the run was quite tiring,especially under the hot sun, and i almost died during all the conditionings, cos my hand and shoulder were still aching..cos had to carry the heavy speakers for the natiodal day celebration and my back was very pain..
hmm watched inconvenient truth after that, have known it will be terrifying so i was quite mentally prepared,but it was definitely depressing, knowing how serious the problem is...that a lot of places are destroyed, all the once beautiful landscape are dissapearing at a very fast pace...especially all the glaciers on the mountain and the melting of the ice...and that many countries and cities would be underwater if the ice were to melt at the current rate..it's really a very sad thing, to think that we might be the last generation to see all the sceneries..and that our children and the next next generations might not be able to see any snow mountain anymore, and that 40% of the world's population will face shortage of water in maybe 10 yrs time or so...and i really wonder if the problem can really be solved, i rly think we would already hav destroyed the earth before we could think of any real impactful solutions to the problem..hav read and seen a lot of articles/news/discussions abt global warming, and also quite interestingly, a lot of predictions abt the end of world, haha though it seems quite ridiculous, but they do sound reasonable to me,to a certain extent la...and all of them say that it's all human's fault, ya i cant deny that...
today had a outing wif some ODACers, watched rush hour 3 wif them, haha it was damn funny, thought the plot not very nice...but chris tucker and jackie chan r really imba haha quite worth the 9.50 lar, for close to 90 minutes of joy..then went to arcade to play some game and then stoned at the directory for quite long..stoned, din noe whr to go,wandered ard suntec a bit before decided to eat at carl's junior, talked talked talked then went to marina square,hoping that we might be able to see some fireworks haha apparently we didnt get to, so we chionged to mrt stn while the crowd chiong to the opposite direction, but then still got stuck at mrt stn, and when the ppl from the stadium started to come in, it was quite horrible, damn crowded and it was damn hot and the CO2 level was damn high,so we went to raffles city to get some fresher air, then stayed thr for a while,thinking how to go home, hmm then hav to split, shi han and denise went bak to take mrt and heard they somehow managed to squeezed into the mrt, while calvin, siew hwee zhan liang and me walked to 1 dunno wat bus stop to take bus..and bus 12 was rly slow...haha ok overall the outing was fun
